I can see this as being the truth.

After hearing his confession, this is what I think:

They go back to his hotel either to play poker online or he offers to sell him her laptop (which I don't believe at all if it had incriminating evidence), so I think it was to play poker.

They've been up all night so he offers to run out and get coffee, while he's out, she gets nosy and starts poking around his computer. Doucments, photos, maybe emails.. that sort of thing. He's probably got some pretty incriminating stuff on his computer since he likes to taunt the Holloway's with it (extortion). Stephany says she's going straight to the cops with what she's found out.

Joran comes back, discovers what she's done. He flies into a rage and killers her. Her injuries are consistent with fighting back and boy did she fight back...until he broke her neck.

I expect that there's evidence on his computer that will come out and we'll see him tried for Natalie's murder if he makes it through Peru's prison.

Maybe. But I don't know if he would even think to worry about covering her fingerprints. In Aruba he would just say something and he was never required to prove it. They took his word. I'm thinking he would just think that the Peruvians would do the same.

ITA Nancy, the whole laptop story is one big fat lie. There is no way SF remained in that room when he left to get coffee. If she was able to, she would have escaped.

What did they do between 5:30am and 8am? During that time frame, I'm positive she was aware of what she was dealing with and would have done anything to leave, if she was still alive.

He's a pathetic liar, and I'm sure we will get more lying stories out of him.

He lured her to his room, probably to pay her back for money he borrowed. IMO she was walking into that hotel, not intending to stay, not for sex, not for anything but to be paid back money. After reading Peter's comments, it is clear he would do anything to get money from people. As we know, he even tried with Beth.

He's right where he should be right now, and hopefully for years to come. What does he have to loose now? Does anyone think he'll confess to killing NH?

He apparently is in a cell with another murderer. I can see him confessing to his jail mate, who in turn will squeal on him for a lighter sentance?
 
O/T I always wondered if Paulus (dad) took care of Natalee's body for son.
It always bothered me about the boat guy........he went to jail, was released,
got fired from boating job and then got a job through Paulus as a DJ. IIRC

and now no dad to cover up and clean up................JVS just left everything as is
for Stephanie and ran like a chicken, stupid enough for evidence! Thank the good LORD!!!

One thing we know for sure ...she did not get all those bruises AFTER her neck was broke ...this girl fought with all her might. And as far as her pants being off .. come on we know he is/was a sex maniac and that reportely she was an outted lesbian and on her monthly period.....he made advances on her (after all she went to his room on her on free will) so of course he thought SHE wanted him...she refused his advances and he got MAD MAD MAD. But i believe she may have already been dead when he went for coffee (MOO)most defintly he KNEW she wasnt leavin or callin for help while he was gone !!!! He doesnt even look scared or shakin as he leaves the room with his bags and to then tell them not to disturb " HIS GIRL" oh my this man has a huge ego ....yes i can see him smokin, showerin, and packin after killin her .... Kool calm and collected as to what to do next ....run for Chile. jmoo

I don't believe that he will ever be tried for Natalee's murder. They had evidence and either never collected it or they destroyed it. He confessed and still Aruba said they didn't have enough evidence. No, Aruba will never prosecute Joran, if for no other reason than to try and cover their butt.
 
was it just a laptop? or a netbook? Did he have access to WIFI in Peru along the way of his travels????

I don't believe his motive, I feel we will never know the real reason he murdered her and we can all guess till the cows come home. BUT...I really don't care why he murdered her....it doesn't matter. No reason is a good excuse for his murdering her. His making it her own fault in his confession is laughable! He didn't want to hurt her, but she made him......eyeroll.....The result is all the same, she dead and he did it.

I think you're right. I believe he took her to his room to rob her of her casino winnings. This guy was constantly trying to get (extort) money from anyone who had it.

Joran didn't retaliate over an invasion of his privacy. He didn't have any personal pride in anything. I don't believe that for a second.

Flores caught him trying to steal from her and, unfortunately, resisted.

6'3" vs 5' 3"-4" ? She never stood a chance....nor did NH.

If LE has the laptop and from what Stephany's father has said, they do, it will be very easy to see when it was accessed and what was put into the search engine and what time it was initiated.

I believe this time Joran knows the Peruvian police are not like the Aruba police. He knows they have a mountain of evidence against him.

I think at first everything was going well and they were just hanging out together but when he came back from getting the drinks and found out she was googling his name and knew who he was all hell broke loose.

is there a possibility that if he gives up Natalies bod ...the first murder would take precedant (sic) and he would first serve term for Nat in the Dutch system?

I always felt Paulus cleaned up Joran's mess and got rid of Natalie's body. There was something to me so evil about the "no body, no case" statements from dad. If that is indeed what happened Joran will be joining him in hell SOON.
 
Reports say that he left the hotel room for a bit around 8ish and came back with 2 coffees and bread. IMO she may have been suspicious and gone on his computer while he was gone. was she suspicious because of his name and NH's disapearance? we will probably never know. This may be delusions of grandjeur on his account. She may have simply wanted to find out more about this guy, if he was married, etc.
I think he is just so psyco he got paranoid and killed her. It is human nature to be curious, it does not constitute murder and he is a .

I hope they put him away for a long long time.
 
The video of LE taking inventory of VDS's belongs shows them pulling a laptop out of a case/cover, IIRC. I also hope there is a lot of damning evidence on that thing.
 
I have hated the fact that Joran, Daddy and the Aruba police covered up what happened to Natalie - her family put more pressure than the average family would have been able to afford to do. The various confessions and retractions were IMO just to punish her family for having the nerve to question him. And now at least one more girl, one more family to go through the hell of his sickness. I am glad he was caught and will have to face the consequences - maybe for the first time in his life. I find no joy in the fact he will be tortured in the prison system in Peru, I find no joy in the torture of any person. What he has done to at least two women was to torture them and ultimately their families, he should be held responsible. He has been allowed to get by with so much that it didn't cross his mind to question the punishment in Peru. What a waste for such a young person who came from more money and resources to become a contributing member of society. I am glad he is no longer free, don't get me wrong. I just can't relish the glee some feel in his fate.
