I don't think she picked up Joran's drink, I think that possibly someone else had been sitting in that spot prior to her arrival. Joran motions for her to move over (after time had passed and he thought the person that had been there wasn't coming back) and she simply moved that persons old drink out of her way.

aprilshowers - I saw that, but have not heard much more, except that I believe that the host of the NG show did say briefly that Anita van der Sloot was now in Peru, and that Joran now had a private attorney. She did not even say that Anita arranged for the private attorney, only that he had one. I had been wondering all day how it is that AVDS managed to get into Peru, and we have not seen any photos, video of her at all. How did she manage to sneak into Peru in such a stealthy manner?

It looked to me like that had been her seat and drink before Joran sat down. Maybe she had been sitting there and ordered a drink before she went to the bathroom. She comes back from the bathroom and Joran is there. She's not too sure if she should sit down in the same seat or not so she stands for a second before sitting down. Then Joran said "Oh was this your seat? " and moves the seat out so she moves over and takes her drink.

The casino video is so different to me than the hotel video. In the casino video, she walks either beside him or in front of him and talking most of the way. At the hotel, she is in the background with her head down and from what they show, I don't see them speak to each other... Does anyone know what the 18 10 18 11 18 12 is on the video?

Could be, but its hard to tell based on the video. We know SF had to drive her friends home first, she went to her house, and then left. Now if she went into the bathroom and came back, maybe JVDS was watching her, and SF sat down?

Foxnews is reporting that VDS may only get 15 years for killing Stephany. That is BS, not that he would survive a year in a Peru prison.

He could get 55 years for extortion in the U.S. That is crazy that he could get more for extortion that he will for murder.

He never checked out. It is in the video when Joran and Stephany enter the lobby of the hotel, go to the room, Joran leaves with his bags and never stops to collect his $200.00 before going to jail. (being a little silly at the end of my sentence.)
