Famed Attorney Claims New Casey Anthony Pics Are Fake


Famed attorney, Mark Geragos, who is an acquaintance of Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, made a stunning revelation on Dr. Drew's HLN TV show Wednesday night -- claiming recent pictures of Casey, reportedly taken in Ohio, "weren't her."

Geragos was emphatic that the pictures, released earlier this week, purporting to be Casey, weren't of her.

The alleged potos of Anthony show her walking into an Ohio Old Navy store, wearing an Ohio State University baseball hat.

A source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com: "Mark has firsthand knowledge of the situation, and says those pictures of Casey are fake. He won't reveal how he knows this information, or who the woman in the pictures truly is."

I've been trying to think what I would do if I wanted to evade future recognition (and WebSleuthers!) and/or create confusion.
Why not simply release a series of photos suggesting I had a certain appearance and was at a certain location ..... and then change it.

Well from experience I can tell you this. The simple things work. Change you outer being. Clothes are a start. Deflect attention from your key facial points. You would be surprised how "different" footwear can help here. A hair change of course. But the texture of your hair is most important strangely. There is a big no-no in these pictures. Do not go for jewelry. That makes people look at you. To be "in the wind" is to be simple and unobtrusive.

Not sure if anyone has posted this already or not, but this IS an Ohio plate as well. The blue across the top are letters spelling Ohio. There are several different Ohio plates on the road, this is an older plate no longer issued.

Please stop acting as if the public is out to kill FCA. It is offensive and baseless. She is free in society, subject to the same risks as the rest of us. People do not like her but that does not equate to her having a hit taken out on her. The people being aggressive and threatening are the DT.

I am certainly confused by this reply to my post. I certainly do not think the public is out to kill FCA in any way. I am simply responding to arguments here for why most posters think this is a staged shoot. I am simply making a point on why I believe this is not staged by the DT. The DT is showing KC's pic with a target on her face to the Court saying that there are credible threats, while at the same time staging this video shoot and release? I mean, come on, no matter how one thinks of the DT, certainly they would not tell the court she is a target out of one side of their mouths, and set up this video that shows her multiple days all alone walking streets with no one around?
The DT is saying she is at risk, not me, or my post.
That was my point.

If I was the pap who hunted FKC down and took these pictures, I'd need to feel awfully good about how many bucks I made off of them, but I'm sure not getting any cred for it! They marks on the arms, neck, the way she walks, the way she holds her arm. That is Casey Anthony and the defense and Casey made money and they are trying now through Garagos to hide it.

When Geragos is telling the truth IMO it is when he mouth is not moving and his lips are sealed, which isn't often. He is trying to resurrect his career now through Baez.

I didn't watch the Today Show but I watched a clip on one of the news stations. Baez seemed a bit off, different not blustering. I think he is worried to be honest that this probation might stick and he sees dollar signs flying out the window.

I keep going back and forth. Would the DT present pics of FCA with a target on her head and claim her life is in danger, and then be the same ones who set up these photos and videos for public release? Well, if this were any normal DT I'd be inclined to say no, they wouldn't. But lets not forget this is the same DT that made those outrageous claims in their OS and backed them up with zilch, nada, nothing. The same DT that has played "dirty" from day one in the most unimaginable ways. Who knows what they would really do or how far they would go for the almighty dollar?

And then OTOH, we have FCA who is bold, brazen and used to getting what she wants, at all costs. Nobody tells her what to do or when to do it. I can totally see her going behind the DT's backs and arranging this shoot all on her own with the company who sold the pics to TMZ. DT may have been paying for her to stay at the hotel and allowing her a daily stipend of cash to cover meals and some spending cash but nothing extravagant. We all know FCA wouldn't go for that lifestyle very long, especially with a mall nearby. I can see her going behind their backs to have some cash at her dispense and not be limited by her "allowance" from the DT. She's definitely bold enough to do it and we all know she doesn't think about consequences - she lives in the moment, the right now.

And then there's ultra-greedy CA. She may have known about FCA's location and decided to go for the $ herself and set up the shoot with the company who took the photos/video. Does anyone know where the headquarters of that company are located? Maybe CA and GA's recent trip with their attorney was to meet with someone from that company to arrange payment and figure out how to channel the money in a way that wouldn't jeopardize their disability income or become public knowledge that they were yet again making $ off of their granddaughter's death?

So many possibilities....and with this astoundingly bizarre cast of characters and all of their "issues", who knows? Anything is possible with these freaks. Not a normal one in the whole bunch.

My husband looked at the TMZ pix and didn't think that was Casey because he thought the woman in the photos looked a lot heavier than Casey during the murder trial. But he never watched any of the pre-trial hearings like I did when Casey was heavier. He said that if it was Casey how did she pack on so much weight in a month. I told him that she's probably eating and drinking everything is sight that she couldn't have while she was in jail for 3 years (thus what looks like a Starbucks Frappucino drink in her hand).

I think Casey dyed her hair a reddish brown and probably cut it shorter and is wearing it in a messy updo with a baseball cap. I think the photos are her but I also think that the photos and videos are staged to make her money. Let's face it, she doesn't have any money coming in yet from any deals so I think this is a way for her to make some quick cash. I think either she or some cohort has sold the pix and video to Splash News.

Well, Roxy, yes it could be any number of scenarios, I suppose.
We could have fun with this...
It could have been LP shooting the video and selling it to get some of his bond money back.
It could have been RK as he allegedly knows how to hide things until the reward goes up.

Regardless, my point is that I cannot see the DT taking the risk to stage a video shoot like this, and if they did, I can't see them showing this girl walking empty streets alone, when the same day they submitted this to the court

My point is not that there are credible threats, my point is that I don't see how they would risk staging of video of a vulnerable KC. It does not matter that she has moved. This video is suggestive. It suggests that KC might be easy to find in any town, and an easy target for pap or nut as well. I think this will alert retail clerks and baristas to keep an eye out for her. The DT have to pay for her new disguise as well

Too a bit of a risk for DT, too little money for DT...

All it would take is one person in the know of this "staging" to sell out.

He did seem nervous, but I think I know why. Word on the street is that Matt Laurer had set Baez up for a trial appearance as a possible NBC legal analyst that morning. So Jose was trying to look like a network Legal Eagle, like a learned professor. So he had the different suit look and he talked calmer. less cocky. I think he was awful though.
