Today was the day Misty was set to take her depo's in the drug cases. Does anyone know how long before we might read the depo's? We have an arrest in the drug case so they should be released, right? TIA

Last I heard, Misty had the following dates for court:

Misty Croslin's Pre-Trial Hearing in Putnam County - June 3, 2010

Misty Croslin's Pre-Trial Hearing - St. John's County
June 8, 2010

Yes, those are what I mean. I told you I couldn't read or understand these court dockets very well. So the detectives were the ones giving the depositions? Will we be able to read those or no?

Yes, it is the detectives giving the depositions. IMO, I would think that Misty's attorney would have to turn over a copy to the State and then once this is done it becomes public record.
 
Burning question, for me anyway. When Ron and Misty first went to jail they both stated they were reading the Bible or doing Bible studies. I have not heard anything about this in like, oh, forever. Did they suddenly realize reading the Bible was not a get out of jail free card? :woohoo:
 
Are the LE still waiting on reports re: what they found in the river? Or did they find anything at all. Was it cinder blocks for sure they sent off to be analyzed? Was there ever any confirmatin that they found any evidence. tia

IIRC, LE never stated what they took from the river, only others with sources indicated it was this or that.
 
I was wondering if there is another set of docks in the area that look like the ones LE searched. IIRC, Misty thought the docks they searched were the ones, but with her fuzzy head, who's to know for sure.
 
Most jurisdictions provide that depositions may be taken to perpetuate the testimony of a witness, that is, preserve their testimony for trial. If the person requested to testify (deponent) is a party to the lawsuit or someone who works for an involved party, notice of time and place of the examination before trial can be given to the other side's attorney, but if the witness is an independent third party, a subpoena must be served on him/her if he/she is recalcitrant. This occurs when a witness may not be able to testify at trial. The deposition of the witness is taken and, if the witness is unable to appear at trial, the deposition may be used to establish the witness' testimony in lieu of the witness actually testifying. Regarding depositions to preserve testimony, the Confrontation Clause of the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution establishes a constitutional right of the defendant to be present during the deposition and to cross-examine the witness. The defendant may waive this right

Why did putnam county just post on fridays a 9;12 am facebook haleigh's missing info no mention of a homicide .....why would they do that :

homicide it says missing person
