Can anyone explain why the prosecution cannot bring up the big fight that supposedly occurred between ICA and CA on the night of June 15th?

I have read in another post that the Anthonys denied under oath that it occurred (when was that?) and that bringing this up now would impeach them?

Can anyone explain would that would mean for the case against ICA?

Thanks!

Has anyone besides Cindy said that they heard the name Zanny before June 16th?

hello! actually she retained baez herself almost immediately, we always did wonder how she found him. she "paid" him in photos and videos of caylee which he sold to ABC. I believe AF and CM (as well as all the others who have come and gone) are working pro bono, that is they donate their defense. Sims, I am not sure -

Sims seems more and more uncomfortable representing ICA every day of the trial. It is clear she is not supportive of her client. Do you think she'll stay on board for the duration? I could see her representing a client that she believes to be innocent based on her CV, but a guilty client? Seems not to sit well with her, or fit in with her prior work.:tyou:

Newbie here, hi all and thanks for all you do. Quick question, according to the timeline, ICA had TL's jeep on the 17th of June (possibly thru the 19th). Is there any documentation (interviews, depositions, etc.) to indicate where her car was on those days?

I'm sure those more knowledgeable can give a really good answer, but my instinct is to say it's because the State has no real evidence to back that up, and they don't bring up things they don't already know answers to. It was a story told by Casey to Lee, then Lee to Jesse, and a neighbor heard yelling but not enough to know what was said or exactly when, so it all kind of borders on rumor and speculation. The State is all about facts and evidence, not gossip and unsubstantiated hyperbole. Although it is a juicy little thing I wish had been explored more, myself.

I've been trying to read everything about this case for the past month or so...What are some of the sites or threads that are "must reads", incase I missed some? TIA

I believe Richard Grund, Jesse's dad, has said in his deposition that he recalls the name being said, but I never read his deposition myself, so I'm gonna just throw that thought out and ask you to look for his deposition if you were interested to verify. Other than him, I thought there was an online chat conversation she had with either Tony Lazzaro or Anthony Rusciano where she talked about her nanny being stuck in traffic, though I don't recall that she actually named her by name. Maybe others will recall.

I'm not attaching any links to anything because I cannot, I have a computer going on about 8 years now and there just is no way I can do two things at once here. But you should be able to search for Richard Grund's deposition, and the chat logs between the two Anthonys and Casey. Good luck!

I'll tell you what I found the most interesting and informative and addicting for myself personally, that was going to youtube and searching for CINDY Anthony. not Casey, not Caylee, but CINDY. Start with NifterMedia's page on youtube and watch every video you can find of Cindy, whether it is a 30 second clip in front of her home, or a 15 minute interview with the media. It's all so fascinating and spells out so much of the craziness that we are now being able to put into formation watching the State lay it out for us.

Welcome!!

You may want to ask this question on the lawyer's thread. Personally, I don't think the judge would release her.

Newbie here!

I've been following mostly the live trial threads, but I think I stumbled on an older one a few days ago in which someone referenced 3 witnesses to ICA being in or around the woods where Caylee was found.

Yesterday someone mentioned that it was a shame that there were NO witnesses to this.

So, do we have witnesses to this or no?

Thank you!
None that will be testifying IIRC. There was one friend who remembers seeing Casey jogging in the area...but who the 2 others are...no idea.

Thanks...I will do that. So far, I've only seen the jail house videos/phone calls of Cindy. I think I've seen all of ICA'S, so now I'll watch/listen to all of Cindy's..I would have never thought of to go to youtube, so thanks again.:rocker:

Did Casey bury her pets in the same area where Caylee's remains were found?

Did Casey put heart shaped stickers on her deceased pets or their "burial shrouds?" (by which I mean, shoe boxes, bags, or whatever she wrapped them in?) regardless of where she buried them.

Thanks!

I believe it was KioMarie Cruz who said in her deposition that she had buried pets in that spot as a kid, when she and Casey and a third girl were little friends and hung out there. They drew hearts on the brown paper bag they buried the pet in. Please search for KioMarie's deposition for clarification, this is my recollection.

Welcome tvjunkie! To my recollection....kc did not have access to TL's jeep until closer to the 4th of July - when he had flown home to NY.....acandyrose has an excellent calendar - as does WS - in the upper part of the kc forum there is a link to a very detailed calendar outline.... hope that helps. You can read TL's testimony for the exact dates she had access - or you can view the testimony itself....Again in the top of the kc forum on WS - there is a thread with witness testimony....glad you found us.

You might want to ask this question in the lawyers thread.....not sure why SA have not brought this up.....maybe they still will in the future.

No, Casey and her friends buried their pets in an area by the school. This is a considerable distance from the remains area. The remains area was probably always a dense yucky swamp even when they were kids.

I think the reason is that they have to go by what has been testified to in the depos (parties directly involved- in this case Cindy (and Casey))...otherwise, it's considered hearsay.

What do you think will be the “Perry Mason Moment” during the trial when a certain piece of evidence or testimony makes ICA jump out of her chair and say “I did it! Stop the madness, I did it!”?

If this is the wrong place to ask this question, please move to appropriate thread and thanks!

I don't think there will be one of those moments. ICA has never cracked in the nearly 3 years she's been in jail. If you watch the opening statements given by LDB again you will ICA shaking her head no to all sorts of statements given by LDB, ICA also appears to get quite angry at times. I think ICA is now in her new reality and she believes the story the defense team is peddling, she also has years and years of appeals to look forward to if convicted.

I think what will be most interesting is how she will adapt to her new prison once convicted that could well be a breaking point for her. ICA has been completely cossetted in the jail she has resided in for the last 3 years, it's familiar to her she knows the routines, the guards, the other prisoners under protective custody and she gets regular (though dwindling) visits from her attorneys/mitigation specialists. All that will change once she goes to prison and I think she could completely breakdown once that happens. ICA didn't seem to do to well with jury selection as that was at a different location.

But, will she ever admit to what she did to Caylee - in my opinion, no.

If you have been listening to Wendy Murphy then she has led you astray. Casey had her own car during that time, and she drove it to her parents home about 2:3o pm on the 17th. [ According to her cell tower pings and her computer usage records.] She was there at the home until 4:30 ish. The neighbor said in a depo that the car was backed into the garage shortly after George left home and went to work.

Reportedly, she did use Tony's car briefly on the late afternoon of the 17th because she went with him and a group of his friends somewhere, and she was turned away with no ID. So he let her drive away in his Jeep. She went to a friend, Chris's house until about 8 pm. Then she went and picked up Tony and returned to his apt., where her car was parked.

This INFO is from:
http://www.acandyrose.com/caylee_ant...tory_index.htm

Does Wendy Murphy REALLY believe that the prosecution has no idea who was driving the car around with the decomposing body in the trunk?
