Mallory had prolly already heard the news when she went to the house to feed the dogs and let them outside. Maybe she and Lee had been told that the house was going to be off limits and they told LE the dogs were inside.

I know my first thoughts would've been about the dogs and that they're going to be scared, going crazy, peeing and pooping all over the house, etc.

Mallory may have been in the back yard w/ the dogs, was looking for them under the beds, or was putting them into a dog crate(s) when LE came to the door.... thus didn't hear them knocking.

LE may have told her not to take the dogs with her... or maybe there was another reason why she didnt take them. Why weren't they with Lee and Mallory....... from day 1.... when GA and CA went to Calif?

I don't think Mallory was doing anything, except being concerned about and taking care of the dogs. I could see LE and the dogs driving each other crazy during the search, gathering of evidence!

I think logically she was caring for the pups, but sure, it did cross my mind that she had an alternate reason for going there--maybe to clear out some "possible evidence" before authorities arrived? I don't know. It seems definite answers can't be given to ANY question in this case.

I thought perhaps she went there to more or less "hold down the fort" because "something" was happening. Perhaps out of concern...or she was told to go...due to the fact they were afraid the protesters...or angry people might do something to the house??? Maybe it took a while to answer the door because she had to look out to see who it was? Or...maybe she was in the bathroom (pregnant) because she didn't have time to go before she left.

I just don't want to believe that she is entangled in all this horrible mess.

I agree. I don't think Mallory wants to be in this mess. I honestly believe she was there simply to take care of the dogs.

Can you imagine being pregnant with your first child and being so close to this case? My prayers are with her and her unborn child!

I can buy all of that but why not take the dogs?? One good thing we can all be glad of is that LE was there "beat feet" to get her out and make her leave. Absolutely. They reached out and told her to leave.

That was my question- why the heck didnt she take the dogs to Lees instead of leaving them there. The dogs were inside the home when they did that search and took those bags out- that was crazy- maybe shes not a dog lover-

Maybe the place she lives at does not allow animals if it's a rental.
When she was asked to leave they may have told her that they would take care of the dogs so she did not need to worry. Poor girl was probably quite shaken up at the time and just doing what was asked of her.

Again I will ask...how do we know this? All I have heard is some neighbor speculating thia was why she was there. We don't need to state this as fact until wde know more.

Earlier on Thursday, the girlfriend of Casey Anthony's brother, Lee Anthony, showed up at his parents' house but was escorted out. It is not known why she went into the home.

She could have dumped whatever she took on the other side of the wall outside, for LA to come get later.

Anyone notice her pants legs were rolled up, like she had been walking outside? And why did it take so long to answer the door?

Just my guess and opinion.

I would bet when they searched the home months ago they would have taken the garbage bags and duct tape then just in case they found the body someday.

You must not have dogs. Dogs do not "fend" well for themselves. It would have been cruel to leave them in the house all day and night by themselves.

Cats need love, attention & companionship just as much as dogs. The Anthony's also had a black shorthair cat, has anyone heard any mention of him or her? I'm sure they all feel the trauma of this horrific situation, poor babies.

I don't think that idea is so far-fetched. After all, she is carrying Lee's baby, am I correct??? If so, I think she would be willing to help him and the family. JUST MY OPINION

Besides, it was only a suggestion - not an accusation!!!

I have a 14 year old dauchsund and 2 labs all of which are absolutely spoiled rotten but, if I had the possibility of being thought of as destroying evidence by going into that house, forget it. I would have checked with the authorities first before going in that house. Sorry, just what I would do.

It's very possible that Mallory wasn't even aware of what just happened.

Not sure if this has been asked yet...On Caylee singing "You are my Sunshine", when she says please don't take Nan's Sunshine away, since CA was videoing this, maybe this was something new that CA had taught her, and when they got home that evening she replayed it to the family. If there was already a jealousy issue, Caylee calling singer Nan's sunshine instead of mom's sunshine, may have set KC off and triggered the fight. Jealousy is a very strong emotion. If the song was new to Caylee, she may have kept singing it and KC may have snapped. What do you think?
