IMO, Misty is responsible for whatever happened to Haleigh! I do not for one minute believe her "stories" about that night.

Hold on, my post wasn't anything about Haleighs case and whether Misty does or doesn't have responsibility. Did you read my entire post? To be clearer, I was referring to the charges pressed against Lisa Croslin, Misty's mother as Misty has caught the fan due to her brother Hanks arrest also.

I wonder if these fraud charges could be a result of her involvement in the stolen gun episode ? Maybe she knew her son would tell LE about her involvement when he got locked up, which lead to her sudden "trip" to TN...? Maybe they were stealing the gun to get money for drugs...just a thought.

This is probably stupid but I'm going to throw it out there.
Right before they left town they did not have nice things to say about their daughter. They pointed a pretty heavy finger at Misty. Could Lisa have wrote and sent that note that supposedly was written by Nay Nay? Forged the note to shed light to LE on their suspicions they have for Misty?

Iirc in an interview at Art's maybe Misty called her Mom that night.

I think if checks were stolen from the senior man it would take awhile for him to notice, plus LE left the card for Lisa to call and they booked it to TN.

Authorities with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office tell 97.3 The Sky Lisa Croslin's bond is $10,504.00.

Are they going to drop it to just $10,504? :waitasec:

Maybe DC set the bond at $100,000 because they are holding another state's wanted, so she doesn't get away before the transfer?

Stilettos and JustJax: You have no idea how effective it can be to keep your enemies close. Ron's marrying Misty came out of left field and I have always thought it was some sort of tactical move. She may have said to him 'marry me now or you'll never learn what happened to Haleigh." I think he knows darn well that Misty was somehow responsible and he's desperate enough to find Haleigh that he would "sleep with the enemy."

I agree! I would love to just shake him and ask "what are you thinking?", but then, I figure, as much trouble as he has been in during his life, he has had to of obtained some since of street smarts...keeping his enemies closer. I may not like him, but if indeed that is what he is doing, he is certainly doing a good job of it!

The only problem with this plan he concocted if that after SEVEN months, LE still hasn't found Haleigh. Wonder why he didn't shift plans much earlier on in this case?:banghead:

IMO, Ronald Cummings is far from a great actor. Not buying that he could keep up that type of acting....did you see the tonsil hockey video??

Does Lisa have a long criminal history ? I have missed certain parts of this case, like prior criminal charges of the players involved...there seem to be so many to keep track of.

Yes, I am thinking of putting together a spreadsheet to keep track of everything - gheeeezzzzzzz. I cannot imagine my children ever being around even a small fraction of what we've seen in this case.
