I was wondering if it's another relative, isn't her mom's maiden name the same as the "fan" that allegedly posted this? Plus the aunt had commented that she was glad he'd finally got in to visit her, or something to that effect.

I was thinking that it was a distant relative, cousin maybe, who has never met her before.

I'm not a defense lawyer, but to impeach this gentleman would be virtually impossible.

I am up runningwater. It's just nasty out. It sounds like it is turning to the freezing rain we were promised. Grrr!!! Snow is bad enough. The heaviness on the wires and trees will be no good. Weatherman said things could turn to an ice skating rink and back to snow later. Driving will be very hazardous. I am home for the day also.

The trial minutes have been released for the class action Omnibus case, where JA and others are trying to get DP taken away. The case is now delayed until April. Beth Karas says that means if JA is sentenced to death before then, she will no longer be able to take part in this class action. So you can bet that once Nurmi and company get the case back to do their rebuttal, it will be delay after delay again.

The on.y good part is that jurors will once again see how fast court goes when Juan has control and how slow it goes when the defense has control.

Wow, I did not know this. It's great news to me and sure explains the long delays. Wasn't the original start date for that Feb. 6th? I think they are out of long delay tricks and she will be sentenced before April. Bye, bye Jodi.

In the every cloud has a silver lining sense, I picked April 8 for the verdict, simply because it's "Fire All the Lawyers Day" and the DT were forcing us to wade through invisible *advertiser censored* at the time.

I hope she started early...New Canaan to Fairfield County not too bad, as long as the roads are passable.

Another question. I don't know much about guns, but wouldn't Jodi have been worried that one of TA roommates would hear the gun shot?

No doubt mumbling reminding herself to write a note to ChaCha to tweet that Melendez is a "perjurer". This is what she does when presented with facts she doesn't like. She has called Deanna, Melendez, Dr. Horn and Flores perjurers. She thought deleting the pics and putting them through a wash cycle would wash away evidence but she got caught.

The roommates weren't home at the time. She should have been worried about the neighbors hearing but perhaps the majority of them work and weren't home either. There was some string on the stairs that looked like tassel fragments from a decorative pillow, to me, so perhaps JA used one of Travis' pillows as a make shift silencer and took the pillow with her afterwards.

The video is not really good enough to be able to read her lips. Plus JA seems to mumble more than actually move her lips much at all. I tried to read them but just can't.

She has still not expressed one ounce of regret for murdering Travis. Not any. She has convinced herself that he deserved to die for what he did to her. How sick is that?

Even if <modsnip> was to fake remorse, the prosecution hands have been tied by JSS.

In the trial minutes dated October 21st, JSS granted the defense motion to preclude evidence that the defendant lacks remorse. Also precluded was any evidence that JA made threats against trial participants.

I've thought about this too. Doubt the DT will try to impeach the Bishop directly. He's telling the truth and he's a Bishop. Plus the DT probably doesn't want him to light up again all the points thst prove faceless #1's aff is all lies.

What they might do.....ask the Bishop questions they know he isn't allowed to answer, relating to Travis and covenants.

For example, " did Travis ever discuss his addiction to *advertiser censored* with you?"

The Bishop might be forced to reply with the equivalent of the 5th. As in, " my attorney has advised me not to answer that question."

The truth is Travis never did, but inability to answer and invocation of clergy confidentiality could look like the Bishop is protecting Travis.

Yea, but what shade of brown.... it can go from light beige brown, to golden brown, to auburn, to brunette, to dark brunette... etc. and then there's her blonde streaks that she didn't give up until June 3, at least not in any pics I've seen(Othello was after and even in that pic you could see the dark brunette washing out from her previous colour).

All of a sudden, I realize that AA said something about JA going to get her hair done in December 2006 in Pasadena (?). I'll bet she went to the same place to get it done before the murder. Maybe someone knows where this was?
