Jodi's ambitious plans for prison included selling T-shirts to raise money for charities and other ambitious plans. Based on this picture, when she gets the DP, she can lower those plans to things that involve a mop and trash can. :)
I think the killer truly believed she was going to be found not guilty/hung jury, her confidence was sadly misplaced (quoting her 48 hour interview after her arrest), but, she is living an illusion. I listened to her conversation with Lisa Schilling/donation phone call, she sounds as if she is the head of some charity event in charge of its organization for some benevolent cause, non chalant/business as usual demeanor, I don't have any more words to describe this woman that has not already been said, uncanny. :sigh:

It really is horrific to think about how she is capable of the long drive alone both there and back. On the way there with the weapons knowing what she was planning to do, and on way back with the bloody knife and gun to dispose of.

What scares me the most is someone that is capable of spending so much time AFTER she killed Travis.
-She literally is dragging him around.
-She is doing laundry.
-She most likely took a shower herself or at least cleaned up somehow.
-She may have changed clothes

She must have spent a considerable amount of time AFTER she killed him. Not that anybody has experience but it seems most people would want to literally run out of there.

Not Jodi though. She can casually hang around and take care of things.
Super heebie jeebie creep factor.

These things would not have taken much time. She dragged his body back to the shower on a wet floor (water and blood). She took off her socks. She rinsed herself off (probably just after dragging the body to the shower). She tossed evidence into the washer and turned it on.

She left.

Don't forget the smiling selfie en route. Who does that?

Agreed! I've driven through Arizona many times in my life and never once needed a gas can for a lack of gas stations.

It defies logic, in the middle of the desert heat to carry gas cans in a car, the vapors alone can make you sick. The killer claimed she wanted to save money on gas, yet she rents a vehicle 100 miles away from her house, that would be ~90 minutes each way, go figure.

BBM; Nope, Not for a psychopathic killer.

Apologies for the OT reference, but hopefully it can be seen as background context for the current discussion. IMO the prosecutions case in Florida vs. CA was weak from a strictly legal POV, in spite of the common sense culpability of CA. They paid the price for that.

I completely agree. They overcharged imo.

That's what she said in an interview, but she really didn't travel much. She went on some road trips with Travis, and most of those were regional. Her obsession with this man led her to portray herself as an extensive traveler--because after all, he had the book, and the idea in her mind was that it became "theirs." So sick and sad...
Her travel was based on this:

I suppose we will never know exactly how long she stayed but I have a feeling she stayed awhile. Although she probably didnt wait for the rinse cycle to complete.

She just gives me the serious creeps moreso than most male murderers.

Speaking of a certain reporter who will be named by himself in this screenshot, I went looking for the exact tweet where he proliferated this pornhardrivegate mess and found this. Thoughts? A reporter in the courtroom reporting the facts of the trial tweets this:

He was the only' journalist' that tweeted that there was 'possible child *advertiser censored*' on Travis' computer, which everyone knows is not true. The egg all over his face is well deserved.

That evil woman dragged the poor man into the shower and then used the same shower to clean herself. I firmly believe that.

True indeed. Starting rumours ...

I think he tries to be non-bias, but he just can't help himself.

I also believe this. She had to have cleaned up well enough not to mess up the car she was fixing to drive back in.

And she was most likely not wanting to be all covered with blood if she got pulled over.

I believe Mr M has this. It's tough reading the twitter posts of what's being said in the courtroom. However I feel the jury had a lot of knowledge about this case from Mr. M prior to this witness testifying.

I doubt after seeing the autopsy photos, hearing from Dr Horn, Flores, etal that the jury is trying to peace together a reason advantageous to JA slaughtering Travis. It would just make no sense. I know she only needs one but I have faith this jury will do the right thing. They have to see how dangerous she is and making sure she is never released the DP is the only way. I also think the Jury is as disgusted as we are hearing the defense trash Travis. I know I would be and would be highly offended with the path the Defense team is taking. Makes it look like they have nothing else, which they don't.

Anyway, it will be over soon, Mr. M will be up and put it all in prospective. Trial should start moving faster after this witness testimony if there is no more down time.

I just hope and pray the family can get through this. It must be gut wrenching sitting in the courtroom listening to lie after lie. Hoping they have lots of support in and out of the courtroom in AZ.

I keep thinking Mr M has done many of these trials and faced this kind of crap before maybe not as bad but he knows what to do and how to do it.

Here's hoping tomorrow is the end of this testimony and Mr M gets his chance.

Hugs everyone.

If only she was driving a Pinto that day. :shame:

Does anybody know if Juan gets to cross this witness as soon as she is done OR does he have to wait till defense calls all their witnesses?

I hope it is immediately after each witness is done.

I'm gonna be fair to Michael Kiefer here. I thought he had not written an article on Juan's response to the defense claims. I was wrong. He has and it was pretty fair, including the title of the article. For some reason, it didn't gain the traction that the original story did, probably because it's not as exciting as the possibility that Jodi arias could walk free due to destroying evidence. Doesn't have as sexy a ring to it lol :

I think he's been reprimanded so he is at least trying to give the appearance of impartiality. So that's the "fairness" I will give him. ;)

It's immediately after each witness. Until then we're waiting to exhale.
