Tony is no one important. Just a random guy with a random hard drive. We'll probably never know nor do we need to.

I wonder if this was just a stall tactic, like Juan said, and the guy is going to claim he made a mistake and grabbed the wrong hard drive and does have Travis' mirror image?

I'd like to know who Tony is. And, what " guy grabbed the wrong HD." If that was the case. Assumption for now.

I kept hoping Juan could bring out the witch in her but she remained controllen throughout her testimony. Her face was FROZEN when he hit her with the gas can questions though. But she never "broke" the way I wanted her too. Evil psycho.

I thought even funnier was the secret coded messages she tried to sneak out of jail. I thought that was funnier because she couldn't believe such a genius plan was foiled, but also because it caught KN/JW completely off-guard - they had totally missed that this was what Juan was going after at that point.

Just a guess but perhaps Tony could be a DT computer expert guy who had to setup a new computer to try to read the mirror image that was given to them from the prosecution team. If the computer they gave the DT was not working then perhaps he used a different computer to try to read the drive.

If he had to do some sort of setup to even read the thing then the computer may have gone through initialization and asked him to name his computer and low and behold "Tony" is entered.

Just a guess of course. I think I am getting all the computers and mirror images all confused again. :)

Your Tony guess is as good as the next. And it matters. Nurmi's accusation against Flores and JM wasn't business as usual. We absolutely have a right to know if the DT 's experts are involved in trying to obstruct justice, or trying to get a mistrial by underhanded means.
Who is Tony is and how the DT came by his HD is totally relevant.

Obviously it is an assumption. Which is why I said, "I wonder."

I'm saying grabbing the wrong one would have been intentional to stall for time. Or an accident.

Expert guy would be that guy. We don't know if he's "Tony".

Most likely (still guessing of course :)) it wasn't the defense lawyers who had "Tony"'s HD but rather the defense expert (who may or may not still be Lonnie D). An expert might have dozens of HDs in the office, but obviously ought to be keeping better track of which is which!

Thank you, that's what I was saying. Ultimately, whoever Tony is is irrelevant and it could have been a "mixup." No point in worrying about him being involved in some mass conspiracy. Assumptions.

Yesterday you said Nurmi would never have handed over the wrong HD on purpose. Have you changed yr mind?

Question for AZLawyer- can you shed any insight into how JM goes about planning his cross examination? I'm curious if he has a broad plan in advance, and then fills in specific details/questions based on how the questioning of the witness goes in court?

He always seems to have the details committed to memory, and he asks his questions quickly... I am just curious what sort of planning he must go through, and how he decides which angle(s) he wants to take against the witness. I feel he has many different angles at which he come at Dr F with... and I wonder how he chooses.

Perhaps there are specific goals he needs to accomplish in the cross of this witness (and he then plans his questions around those goals)- what do you think those would be during the penalty phase of a DP trial?

Any insights you can share would be appreciated!

She is the Polly Anna of psychopaths. She takes no criticism, none. And manages to see daylight at every turn. It amazes me. Has she EVER spent ONE moment on realistic self-reflection.

I do get some satisfaction when Juan hits a nerve enough to get a demonic sneer from her.

And sorry....but I do gag at her "timid", "ladylike controlled voice" where she tries hard to appear confused and oh so innocent of any "rage filled murderous hate".

BBM: Don't think so, but she does spend an inordinate amount of time on devious ways to bring down JM and Flores. This is her mission now, and she will keep it up all through her prison time, IMO.

I actually know some journalists personally who are judicious in what they will report out of respect. We were lucky to have one of them the primary journalist covering our trials back in the day.

There are good ones, the same with lawyers and judges, teachers, clergy, police, I guess there’s good and bad in every profession.

Nurmi turned over the HD to the court, not his expert, if he ever had such a thing this fall. So yes, Nurmi had the HD.

Reviewing the professionalism of the DT's original computer expert is what sent me to Dworkin's testimony. IMO, whoever pulled this latest screw up/delaying tactic? It wasn't Dworkin. He seemed extremely buttoned up when holding/tracking evidence in his possession. Could be wrong, but -- IMO -- LD would not risk his reputation by mislaying evidence and failing to follow computer forensics SOPs.

I'm confused. Why was this Tony's computer with the DT to begin with? How did the DT get their hands on it?

I'm sure the convicted murderers hands are all of this, but im just curious how it was in the possession of the DT to begin with.

JMHO the DT is doing everything they can to make Mr. Martinez to run around putting out fires just to delay and delay.

I'm still thinking the PI that Arias hired when last pro per.

ETA: I am not suggesting he is 'Tony'.

I think Jodi should be sent to the same prison Joran van der Sloot is at....he's not looking too good lately, I hear.
He's newly married, IIRC, and I believe he's allowed conjugal visits and is permitted to father children. Junior Jodi's? Puleeeze!

Yesterday you said Nurmi would never have handed over the wrong HD on purpose. Have you changed yr mind?

I'm not talking about Nurmi. I'm talking about the expert. I still think Nurmi wouldn't have done that.

So true.

What polite society is exposed to via television is more for entertainment value, NOT fact. Nat Geo isn't even a reliable source. The brutality in women's prison is often far worse then in men's prisons.
Note that I am referring to "Prison", NOT "Jail".

I concur, big difference between prison and jail
