Why is everything centered??? Is it that way for everyone, or just me?

I got it fixed by starting a thread, making sure left justified was selected and hit preview. If I am logged in it is showing left justified, if I'm not logged in, it is centered. Hope this helps.

I think if they un-center the Greetings in the yellow box above, the forum would go back to left justified. After you sign in & close out the greetings in the yellow box, it corrects it. jmo and O/T.

So many baffling things in this case:

The timing of the phone sex call and Travis' voice in it
The naked photos taken on June 4, 2008 in which not a smile is to be seen
The shower poses that took contrived
Arias being confident enough in her ability to overpower Travis with a knife--she used the knife first rather than a gun. One would think that a woman would use a gun first to disable the victim and then stab him to death. Big risk.
No neighbour heard Travis screaming for his life as Arias stabbed him repeatedly. Another big risk she took in using a knife.
Arias waiting till the very last minute to murder Travis and clean up the bloody mess. And doing it all in a very short period of time

For the sake of simplicity and sanity I will accept that Juan's theory is correct. I guess Arias just got very, very lucky that day.

Good points. I think we discussed the neighbors not hearing because it was very hot that day, and everyone had their A/Cs on. Sounds logical.

Don't run away neesaki, I think the gunshot was first too. **
In one of her "stories," she said one of the ninja's put a gun to her head and fired it and it jammed. I honestly believe that's what happened with Travis, the gun jammed. I mean, why would she steal "Paw Paw"'s gun and not use it to kill him with? It' not nearly as bloody and messy as her handy dandy tire slashing knife that she always carried with her. To me, it makes no difference which came first, he SUFFERED and tried to fight back as his hands had defensive wounds on them. Plus we all know he made it to the sink, and that he tried to crawl down the hall to get away.

** Then again, I sometimes have my doubts about the gun being first. These are my two reasons.

1. The bullet casing ON the blood.

There is a photo (sorry, my tablet is a pain in the butt until I get a laptop) and it shows a bullet casing next to some tile being chipped off.
I am wondering if she could of shot twice, the second bullet ricocheted off the floor? So, off she went for the knife while Travis was standing in front of the sink. The blood spatter on the sink looks like spitting/coughing up blood. JMO

I always thought the "lunging" scenario could have actually been Travis trying to disarm JA. He's wet (or otherwise incapacitated?) and falls and the superficial knife wounds in the back occur. Somehow he pulls himself up and she comes from behind and slits his throat. Somewhere in this scenario he attempts to crawl to get away. Then the final shot. (PS- of course I realize I'm leaving out the majority of knife wounds that were part of the heinous attack.)

I read on FB Tanisha is not doing well with this retrial. That makes two of Travis’ family who are not doing well. I’m wondering if nurmi’s focus is not the jury, but maybe he’s going after Travis’ family, thinking they will give up on DP ????

I think that's it. 9 days out of 10 Nurmi doesn't like Jodi Arias. And if Jodi Arias gets the death penalty then he and Wilmot look bad. Juan sure won't back down, so the best way is to break the family down. He can't do it by Travis is a pedo overkill because that backfired, so he's just breaking them down.

I hope Juan straight up goes for crime scene picks. Then says well Jodi's family could have visited her in jail if she didn't insert infraction but Travis's family visited his grave. Picture of grave. Let the image sit with the jury and remind the family to keep fighting.

I think the defense team is just doing whatever it can to drag out their revenue stream. After this its back to smaller cases less payday. Greed plain and simple.
Whatever fallout there is is regarded as acceptable loss.
It has stopped being about a vicious murder, a unusual defendant, a grief striken family- life or death.
Its unsubstainated claims- misdirection- media coverage- doing everything possible to limit prosecutors evidence.
The eventual sentence is of no importance to defense. They win they will talk about defending the murderers rights; they loose and its whine and play victim. Either way they ARE the news.

The sheer horror of the crime i believe will bring convict death. No enemy -foe -advisary deserves what was done to that YOUNG man. It is so awful. Even now its still appalling.
Jury will make sure she never is let loose.

when the ruling came down for no more secret testimony and Jodi's reasons revealed. JA claims she was receiving death threats in prison. Of course she is . . . she facing the most serious threat of death via jury.

In addition, I cannot get over the thought of JSS taking a "death threat" seriously in this case. The mere thought of someone actually trying to break into Sheriff Joe's jail is unfathomable (IMO). If she were to be taken seriously, at best they may put her in a more "protective holding" area to ensure no inside job was carried out.

Jodi claims she is unable to think straight when negative thoughts enter her mind because the media presence (even in the annex room) makes her brain fuzzy - due to her multiple mental health diagnosis and personality disorders. She further claims she would be incapable of tesifying about her remorse, and her multiple mitigating factors without closing the courtroom. That request was briefly granted (on very borrowed time) and she had a few hours on the stand, until the CoA's hammer came down.

Now Nurmi says he's taking it to a higher court . . . how long does he have to do that? Are we waiting out the time he has to file before the transcripts can be released, or is this going to be another delay until jurors are in deliberations before JSS releases the transcript?
