:seeya: IF she [CMJA] was the "Mystery Witness" then yes, she was first.

So ... waiting to see what will happen with the "Mystery Witness."

I do not think this witness - Dr. F - is the "mystery witness."

:moo:

For me to accept that JA was the first witness means I'll have to accept JSS was never the judge I thought she was. :boohoo:

I am a survivor of DV.
I even had thoughts of killing him.
My response, I gave my dad the gun I had, just so it wasn't around period.
My excuse, I didn't want it around my baby.
Then my mom saw the abuse first hand.
When I remarried, several years after his death ( truck vs car ), I would cower at a raised voice.
Now some 30ish years later, I still have moments.
I didn't slaughter him.

((((Lyric))))

Your story is party of why I get so steamed at these expert$ who really do a disservice to those who have truly been a victim of DV like Travis was. I hope they don't start THAT song and dance this afternoon. I'm just glad I have to go to work, if so.

But Juan said what he received after the Tony mix-up was still not the proper hard drive.

And an expert will be able to to tell what was accessed by Travis and what was a virus attacking the computer.

Stand down.

I just saw this on the State vs Jodi facebook page, where it's easier to read Willmott's answer then clicked on this link and saw who wrote that and thought okey dokey then..

but now we know who "Tony" is
According to Willmott, "Tony" was a technician charged with making the copy of the original hard drive onto a different brand computer for the prosecution.

Oh so pleased to see that my feelings about JSS being biased caused such amusement! Just love being made fun of!
I don't believe JSS really even likes KN....but, her irrational fear of appeals makes her tilt more towards the defense.
Hilarious, right?

I truly don't know what JSS's problem is but I sure do think she has one. She sure seems to give Juan a hard time. Between him having to deal with JSS overruling so many of his objections and dealing with the defense and how long they take on every witness it is a wonder he has a mind left. I truly don't see how he sits there so calmly day after day after day when one of the DT is up droning on and on at pond water speed. Especially knowing how quick minded and energetic Juan is. It has to be driving him bonkers. Maybe the DT is trying to make the record books for longest direct examinations in history. If I was a juror I would have zoned out after the first day on this so called expert witness since everything is really nothing but repeats just stated in a different way. She could have testified to all of this in one full day, imo.

I have been very critical of the way JSS has handled this case throughout and I give her full credit for why this case has cost Arizona citizens so much money and why it has taken so long. She is way too soft when it comes to making decisions and even when she does she doesn't do it as if she has control of the courtroom. She has wasted way too much time in all the closed hearings, hundreds of sidebars, and in-chamber meetings, imo.

She even has closed sidebars at the bench when the jury isn't even in the room. She truly is the strangest Judge "I' have ever seen and after this case is over, if it ever is, I sure hope I never see another Judge like her.

She has tried a large part of this case in total secrecy. It will probably take us longer to read through everything that she has sealed.. if it is released after the trial.... than it has taken for the guilt and sentencing phases to be held.

Why the need for all the star chamber-ish secrecy? I have watched countless DP cases before this and never have I seen a Judge conduct their courtroom this way. Thank goodness.

IMO

Question for AZL (please enjoy a juicy strawberry in proxy thanks): Do you see a scenario where JA could have been called in some limited fashion to set up the testimony for this witness? Like something around her validating their interview time together? Would that make any sense at all? (sorry if asked and answered).

Does anyone have the motion filed by DT today that is referenced in the AZ central article? Thanks.

She did look shocked, didn't she? But she recovered nicely, as 20 minutes later she graciously forgave the jury for betraying her.

Exactly. In one of her 15 "post conviction" interviews.

Yes. I just can't imagine JSS would have permitted that to happen in secret.

Thanks, and Yes Travis is the Victim, He wasn't given the option of being a survivor. and for that, CMJA surly needs to pay the ultimate price. She didn't give him the choice, now, did she?

That makes no sense either.. Reason being: When you install windows, it installs various drivers for what's inside the machine. So putting a Compaq hard drive into a dell, doubt it would run. Different video drivers, sound card, network, and given the number of years that haved passed, different processor family's.

Just my 2 cents

I think I love you. :loveyou:

I agree with you a 100% on pretty much everything.

Agreed. It still doesn't fly.

I am very confused.

don't mean to confuse you, I edited my last post to clarify from the MSM link by Kiefer. and then the answer on the state vs cmja fb page with it all spelled out.

(*advertiser censored* there) prior to viruses being downloaded to his computer? What does THAT mean?

I think what they are trying to imply is that the virus they found on the computer, is one that typically comes from *advertiser censored* sites.

Oh NO

Does this take it back to the state to answer for this mess up? If Tony is the tech that the state hired, then could the mixup with hard drives have happened back at the start? I hope not.
