I think what compelled this lady to testify as an expert, knowing she watched you tube videos, was to redeem Alyce. I bet this Doc was so incensed by his treatment of a "professional" peer just Juan just pushed the right buttons. I cannot believe, by her answers and sarcasm, that her intent is to help cmja at all.MOO, she is there to get even for Alyce.

I agree with you. I'll bet she also thought she could handle the situation better than ALV, but guess what? JM is using almost the opposite tactics: she could never have prepared for this line of questioning or for this version of JM.

ITA! This is only the 2nd trial I've followed. CA is a monster because of what she did to her beautiful baby girl Caylee, and I will always consider her the worst possible evil ever. But JA is from another dimension. I'm guessing tho, every psycho/sociopath brings their own kind of crazy to the table, but JA is way scarier, as in, she'd have no compunction killing again and again.

Great points. This is the second trial I've followed. CA was first. Anthony repulses me. I share your view. Yet I agree that Arias would kill again. She is from a whole new dimension of psycopath. Chilling to observe.

Doc said she went to T's on Jan 21 to receive a gift from him. That's new. A new lie.

Doc says CMJA lied about the murder. But nothing else she said should be considered a lie.

Doc said Ryan Burns grinding thing was a symptom of her "love sickness, " of her "unrequited love."

Must have missed that fairy tale tweet.

I've had "unrequited love," sad to say...but I never could have imagined S L A U G H T E R I N G (3x over) the guy I loved, driving hours to the next guy and then grinding on him as a way to deal with my "unrequited love."

What a bunch of hogwash!

Seems to me the more 'evidence' scrutinized here, the less grounds for a retrial in appeal.

BTW: I didn't use the thanks button today because, you know.

Thank you to everyone here. I always enjoy reading everyone's posts, and I especially enjoy the insights and chuckles. Like many of you, each court day I tell myself to stay away and focus on my work, but I can't.

:gthanks:

It's not, imo. I cried in pain and anger after reading Nurmi's first day of direct. It physically made me ill to hear what he and the good doc were trying to do to Travis yet again.

I didn't cry, but I was so upset that Travis's family had to hear all of that crap and how hurtful it must have been for them. I suppose they get through it knowing that Juan will fix it later. But, it's got to be so heartbreaking to hear all those terrible lies about their murdered brother. I hope they feel better tonight.

Reading BK summary. JSS's admonishment to the gallery to behave was in response to several folks smiling when JM was demolishing Dr. F.

She says she believes the jury is not happy with Dr. F's disrespectful treatment of JM, and that the doc's dodging etc. were "tiresome. " Still reading....

Good! It's tiresome to read. She seems to go on jags with her dodging. She could at least mix 'em up a little bit: maybe follow a "your questions are confusing" with a "distraction" or an "I can't answer yes-or-no."

I don't remember the judge asking JA's mom and aunt to quit giggling in last year's trial.

I wonder if Juan will ask her that when Jodi moved out at 17? why her parents didn't make her come back home. Especially since Jodi told about the living conditions at Bobby's grandparents. Wouldn't BJ harboring a runaway?

Aside from JM' s magnificent take down of this "expert" my fave exchange today on this forum was (paraphrasing):
Renee: "is it too early to add Grand Marnier to my coffee?"
Hope4More: "I've already added coffee to my Grand Marnier"
Switzerland poster: "it's later here - what should I be drinking?
Hope4More: "just leave out the coffee"

I have been LOLing all day over this!!!!!

Didn't he approach this in the arc of cross testimony with,"Eff you Bill," and today's cross re: ditching school, moving out? IDK. So hard to tell what's truly going on/being said via Tweets.

Just realized the initials of her first obsession are "BJ." Hum ... (Hey. If Dr F can do it, so can I! For free!!!!)

Chilling is indeed the word.

I know, what's up with that button?

Dumb question, but was JA really wearing earmuffs of just her hands covering her ears?
Thanks!

Yes I know. If you're on this jury would you wonder why Bill and Sandy didn't make her come back home, and maybe they didn't want her back?

Yesterday, ILikeToBendPages wrote
I read up thread? that the *advertiser censored* started in December 2007 instead than September. Would that be around the time that Jodi barged in announcing she was Travis's girlfriend? and she slept under the Christmas tree? and I wonder when Jodi went to make that restaurant size cookie recipe, and Deanna found her on Travis's laptop? And when did Jodi have to rush to take Travis the honey chicken that she didn't want it to get soggy? And the storing her things at his house (why not where she lived) and went to get her social security card. And going back for the porcelain angel (on January 21? the day nothing noteworthy happened) that Travis's supposedly gave her for helping him put the christmas things in the attic? Then bringing the cd's of photos. She always had a "reason" to go to Travis's no matter how dumb it sounds to us. Just thoughts in my head at times

... which reminded of some of what I hate about Jodi. The "innocent excuses" to see Travis, if they're even true (I suspect the self-reported one's aren't), are so juvenile and transparent it makes me want to scream. And only partly because they remind me of the sorts of stunts I pulled back in jr. high. Then there's the ridiculousness about Travis calling her of all people to help put away Christmas decorations in his attic (at some vague, unspecified time that they kind of talked about but kind of didn't talk about, or something, she doesn't remember), because obviously he couldn't ask his housemates or anyone sane for help with that. But let's say it's true, she was there helping with the decorations, and he did give her the angel ("He said it reminded him of me." Gah.), and she did forget it and go back 10 minutes later only to walk in on him "engaging in masturbatory activity" with a picture of a young boy (obviously not true, of course)... She said she just walked back into his house because she'd only been gone about 10 minutes. Who does that? And she traipsed upstairs into his bedroom without so much as a "yoo hoo" because I guess his "open door policy" included his house and bedroom even when he was home and even when he had no reason to be expecting her? Because that's what a close friendship they had? And she's trying to sell this nonsense? OK, maybe she did try the "I'll just pretend to forget something then innocently barge back in a few minutes later to get it" trick, but, seriously, who does that?

Also, anybody else notice how often Jodi throws out that something or other took place in Travis' bedroom? We were in his bedroom and... we were sitting in his bedroom and... my purse was in his bedroom and... I had to go into his bedroom and... we were sitting on his bed looking at Mimi's Facebook page and... I was coming out of his bedroom and... I was just hanging out in his bedroom and... My personal favorite (from her interrogation): "We knelt down by his bed in his bedroom and prayed." (You know, for strength to resist their overwhelming sexual urges... but "it didn't work.")

I hate her so much.

eta: Oh hey! ILikeToBend Pages! You just posted! Small world.

edited again to add: Also, it wasn't exactly a "finished attic," was it? Just kind of a space with joists and insulation? And the police didn't find anything there? So where oh where were all of Travis' Christmas decorations and more importantly who helped him move them? Couldn't have been Jodi, because she absolutely, positively would have told us if it had been her. Could it be that she never helped him put Christmas decorations in his unfinished attic? And could that mean she never caught him you-know-what-ing? Hm.....

Don't worry wenwe4, if B returns, we'll hit him with a flying keylogger. We didn't really prepare for today's testimony on the weekend but dissecting B's claims and the intrusions into the Compaq Presario, especially Killer's hacking, was time well spent. J.M. is ready for him and we're on back up.

Not being able to view the trial, and even having only a few tweets to read today, this was by far my favorite day of trial since it began in January, 2013. To see Juan take this defense apart lie by lie and destroy this lying witness's credibility while doing so was so very satisfying.

When Nurmi told the judge that this defense would be scrutinized for years, he didn't realize that it would be a self fulfilling prophecy and that Juan Martinez would make sure it happens. (Thank you Mr. Martinez!)

Jodi caused all of this. But I am happy tonight that she brought Kirk Nurmi, Jennifer Wilmott and Maria de la Rosa (and the liars tesifying for her) down with her.

Yes I am sure JA is pacing in her cell knowing the day is coming!

Love this post! T.Y.

I do,too and I hope you're right. She is evil and should never be allowed to see the light of day.
