Didn't BJ eventually flee the mainland for an island in the Pacific Ocean? He must have thought that would be safer than hanging out at Crater Lake.

Why does a court reporter put in ear buds?
This is my biggest fear.My prediction..........Judge Stephens will exclude any juror questions that Nurmi doesn't like, and include any questions that Nurmi does like. Juan will have no say so in the matter......as usual.
We will probably go from about 20 questions down to 3 or 4 after they come back from lunch and have another immediate sizzle-bar.
This is part of the reason I am terrified of Judge Stephens getting the opportunity to sentence Jodi.
Life with the possibility of Parole ? You can count on it.
Prediction for the afternoon:
Dr. MF will claim she can't answer the jury questions because she can't be sure it was asked by a juror.
They in some ways are as interesting to study as the sociopaths they champion...as well as the people who marry them while in prison. All damaged. I honestly don't think it's all $ that motivates them entirely. Something else going on there too....I have to say as trite as it may seem, in this trial it does appear to me that a reverse misogyny going on with these expert$. Is there a term for that? It's almost like they enjoy tripping this around making Jodi the victim while sparring with Juan...all $exist in my opinion.
A misogynist is a man who hates women. A woman who hates men can be described as a misandrist, and the corresponding noun is misandry. But however prevalent the attitudes described by these words may be, the words themselves aren't common. There are currently only 23 examples of misandrist in the Oxford English Corpus, while misogynist appears more than 1,200 times; 37 uses of misandry are overshadowed by 1,592 examples of misogyny.
I wonder if KN is separating the questions into "here are the ones she won't answer" (nearly all of them) vs "I'll rehearse an answer for these two over lunch so they're okay" piles
Bsk, I really do hope she refuses to answer some of the juror questions because nothing will alienate her with a juror who feels that their concerns and time are being FURTHER disrespected and invalidated.
Anyone else miss the good ol' days when the 1st Amendment and Arizona law were lip-serviced in JSKS' courtroom?

Can someone refresh my memory please? How do juror questions work - the question is asked and she answers, but what after that? Can either side ask for clarification of her answer, object to her answer, or "guide" her in any way?
I think the jurors may feel exactly how we feel about JSS. Perhaps it may work in the prosecutors favor.
And, they will unanimously decide to take the decision away from the judge who seems to be doing nothing to
keep the court in line.
A DP verdict seems likely if JSS keeps it up, imo
