I've always thought, since hearing her first trial testimony, that she was given a book on DV (by ALV, no doubt) and learned the 'catch phrases', cycle of abuse wheel, etc.

She's in jail, no question there are women in there who ARE DV victims, she's been coached by the cons that want to help her screw the system. Alyce and Geff no doubt helped. Geff even indicated they helped move things in that direction.

I'm very concerned about that month delay in the computer report. I'm guessing that the judge will order Martinez to put the hurry-up on the Real Smith.

Exactly Garthmax, the extreme BPD is the master of triagulation. She has a documented history of this, i.e., Sky & Chris pitted against Travis, playing Abe against Travis, using Dan and Desire Freeman against Travis, etc... and I am sure there are countless examples of this throughout her life that we know nothing about.

My Mom is a borderline, and that's one of her favorite things. For example, she did and still tries to drive a wedge between my sister and I. You're right, JA has probably done this countless times and probably pulls it on her legal team as well.

I agree. It also shows that, even though there was some evidence out there that may have made it seem as if the Hughes had a problem with the way Travis was treating JA, that at the end of the day, they sit with the family, in support of their friend.

I'm sorry for you and your sister. Loving someone with a personality disorder is hell. :hug: One thing with Jodi is that something like triangulation serves multiple purposes - she loves the drama it creates (she's the master of her own universe) but in a romantic relationship, it would also serve to isolate Travis and allow her to exert control. It gave him one less 'soft spot' to land.

Juan- Spy Bot installed & all the defense complained about regarding *advertiser censored* was put on there from the software not Travis #jodiarias #3tvarias

I used to use SpywareBlaster and it does the same thing as Spybot's Immunize feature, it loads all the carppy websites into your browser's Restricted Sites section so you can't be redirected by a virus or malware. I don't know why they need a report to discuss this in court but I know Nurmi will fight it like mad.

I would absolutely die, if my love life was plastered all over the news the way hers is. Travis deserved so, much more......

I probably shouldn't feel this way, but I am so angry at her. Angry at what she has done. Rarely do I get to a point to where I have to put myself in check and not hate someone. I'm mad that she took this amazing person away from the world. I (we) will never get to meet Travis, to enjoy his brilliant personality, or his encouraging words. I'm angry that by the time I knew Travis, he was already taken from us. I feel like I knew him, because of all we have learned about him and his life. I feel like he's an old friend, that I just haven't talked to in a long time.

Yes, Grandparent's said Jodi was mean to her mom and no one knew why. Further that Jodi would demand that everyone use proper english when she was around - she would correct them frequently. This was used by Demarte to state Jodi was demanding and assertive and overbearing which are the things Jodi listed as traits in herself during the psych testing.
