I have always thought that claim was chock full of bravado.

While the investigation was ongoing, IIRC. Right after the murder. And ITA the Hughes stepped over the line SEVERAL times in this saga.

I don't know, if it was my dear friend I may 'step over the line' quite a bit, after the fact. I think in the end, they felt somewhat responsible and that had to be a difficult thing to live with, while trying to process their grief and assist with the apprehension of the perpetrator. I hold no judgement of them in this aspect and can say that I am only glad I can't know for sure. My best friend is alive and we are good.

That's what I want to know. I just don't get it. Are the defense team saying that if I find *advertiser censored* on my husband computer I can stab and shoot him because he's bad for looking at it? Absolute nonsense and shouldn't even be allowed to be discussed in court.

Of course not. That would be silly. What they are saying, is if I accuse him of masterbating to child *advertiser censored*, if ANY links, pictures of a salacious nature are found, then I am telling the truth about the child *advertiser censored*. Plus him spinning me around and choking me and any other story I may tell. Quite simple really.

Of course she is. It will basically be the ending to her secret testimony. It just kills her the Supreme Court put the kibosh on the rest of it. She LOVES the limelight.

Ocean....about her blackmailing him with sex tape, and today's testimony.

All JMO:

If she'd threatened him with the tape, Travis wouldn't have waited until June 1 to go looking on youporn for something she might have uploaded there. He would have freaked and looked the same day.

Instead, the day after the text-fight, his computer was attacked. That says a great big FU by her, IMO. He'd told her to stay out, threatened to go after her legally if she persisted, and so she went back in to his accounts and planted malware or some other bad thing.

I have always been baffled by the thought he let her stay on the 4th if she had told him about the tape. She didn't tell him about it. He needed to hear from her that she was moving on and would let him do the same, and that's what she told him.

Adding.....a single email exchange from the day before is missing but the Hughes have seen the whole fight text. There is no reference to or hint of the tape in it. But there are multiple indirect references to her hacking in/making up stories.

That was the trigger, imo.
