Now it makes sense as to why it wont matter if the tape is released later. She just doesn't want her family reactions to sway the jury and show what a liar she is. I wonder if they even had any clue. I bet they don't.

I've been on the fence as to whether Jodi should get the DP but I'd have to say I'm now for her to receive death. I mean, does this world really need another manipulative, lying, murderous psychopath?

The thing with me is the difference JA's life will be in prison with LWOP and DP. If I'm not mistaken, prisoners with life without parole are given so many more considerations than death row. If JA is given life... I can see her living it up in prison... starting book clubs, recycle clubs, whatever she's allowed to do, she will. Makes me sick!

I had a brief moment as well as several others here that thought she was testifying when she put her "Blazer" on and then all of a sudden the boom came down about the media...
I am inclined to believe it is her.
Nurmi was said to be on his phone as soon as VIS's were made and everyone saw the images of Tanisha and Steven. How everyone was so touched and outraged at what CMJA has done to them.
I guess Nurmi is afraid the jurors would read tweets and such about the outrage that would have happened as soon as she opened her mouth.
Even tho, they are not suppose to, in this day and age, with a trial like this, I wonder how feasible it would be they wouldn't see anything.

I bet it is her.

But WHY would that slow down the trial in any way possible, because other witnesses are from out of town and they have to rework their schedule to be there...

Well cry me a freakn river... What about the Alexander Family. There lives have been put on hold for years!!! To the point of their lives being totally destroyed!

Troy Haden just said on live broadcast said that it is reported by 3 insiders that it IS JA herself testifying. That she spent all day on the stand yesterday and will continue on Monday.

If is is Jodi, what's the problem with the scheduling that will hurt her case as claimed by her defense? I can imagine if it was/is her, wanting everyone out while she cries and begs for life and not wanting everyone see that performance. Well, it was an entertaining thought, lol.

Seed of doubt about what? She's guilty already and it was an extra evil crime so don't understand the doubt.

me too, and/or CMJA's "people" hoping for a mistrial and another year of postponements........

That's a very relevant question, blefuscu, but if you ask me, it has less to do with his specialization and more to do with his desire to WIN. He has known how hopeless defending JA is for years and has been trying to get off the case, but dammit, since he has had to persevere (I'm imagining here), the least he is owed is a win, correct?

He is not so much working to defend JA now because he wants to and believes in what he's doing. He has a private practice and wants to defend his reputation as an attorney.

I am beyond disappointed that this intense fight for 'justice' is about nothing other than the superficial- the reputations of Nurmi and Wilmott. Geez, is that all there is in this case worth fighting for? Looks like it to me.

I don't get the judge asking about rescheduling. It's not like JA has a choice, or has an appointment for a book deal coming up some time next week and can't make the trial.

Maybe she thinks if this leaks out that she can ask for a mistrial because someone leaked the information. Same deal as Mrs. Flores.

maybe they need to get Jodi's testimony in before someone else testifies.
