He will not have to reveal his sources because 1st amendment. It could be false info. We'll have to wait and see.

LOL. I wouldn't count on that. The 1st Amendment didn't keep JSS from locking the courtroom.

I wonder how many of the younger female jurors thought of themselves as little girls at 27 almost 28? Most women in their late twenties consider themselves very capable, thank you very much. Some have already been parents for many years, own houses and businesses, held solid jobs, been in long-term relationships. The whole notion of Jodi being young and inexperienced when she killed TA—and therefore somehow incapable of thinking rationally—could well produce a lot of sarcastic "Right........" responses rather than empathy from several jury members.

I'm ashamed to admit this to everybody here, but, alas, I'm a bit of a criminal myself.
:jail: I was caught stealing candy when I was three almost four. Fact. Unlike the Three Hole Wonder when she killed Travis three times over (hm... coincidence?), I really was a little girl at the time. The system went easy on me... a spanking, which I barely remember, and a lecture, which I do remember. My dad started out with "Tell me about stealing." Almost 50 years ago, and I still have that in my head.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't recall my father or JM or the jury ever asking Jodi to define murder. (Memorably, however, we did get to hear Jodi define "*advertiser censored*.")

By the time I started kindergarten, having reached the ripe old age of four years and eleven months I had pretty much put my outlaw past behind me. I've somehow managed to stay out of trouble, at least that kind of trouble, ever since. (There was once an unfortunate incident in my teens involving expired license tags, but that is, literally, another story.)

By the time I was a month shy of 28, I was a full-fledged grown-up, living a grown-up life, doing grown-up things. The whole 1 Corinthians 13:11 rigmarole -- "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a [wo]man, I put away childish things."

I guess Nurmi would consider me extremely precocious. And, similarly, I guess he considers extremely heinous and cruel premeditated first degree felony murder one of those pesky durn "childish things" young Jodi hadn't quite grown out of yet, given that, during the "incident" in which Travis "passed away," Jodi was still "spaking," understanding, and thinking as a child, not yet a woman. Maybe Jodi was just stuck somewhere in the middle between childhood and adult womanhood.

He's right, actually, to a degree. However wrong about so much else.

I guess what irks me so much about it is that Mr. Z. could be (or at least seem) so dismissive of the truths in Samantha and Steven's VIS's, but be willing to accept even one of Jodi's lies. Let alone accept several, which he apparently did.

LOL. I wouldn't count on that. The 1st Amendment didn't keep JSS from locking the courtroom.

For now. I am confident in the First...that it will prevail.
There cannot be secret, Star Chamber, proceedings in our country when the question of whether to put someone to death is being decided.

Damn I always seem to be a day behind in this thread because of the time difference. I'm still convinced the witness on the stand is none other than Jodi. Nothing would give her greater pleasure than to follow VIS, the attention must always be on her, after all she sees herself as the real victim here. Trashing Travis is like a drug to her, it allows her to relive the power she had over him when she butchered him and the worst thing about it is that Jodi enjoys every minute of it, she is the puppet master in this courtroom. On another note I think the source of the leak is none other than Sandy Arias herself. It makes total sense, she was taken into a back room & advised what was about to happen & she was the only informed person outside the courtroom that could pass on this information, all other parties were locked inside the court. JMHO

Just seen this on Facebook,is there anything this family wouldn't stoop to?? Hardly the Alexander's pretty sure they just want this all over with and wouldn't be so stupid to do such a thing...jodis family/defence not so much.

The Alexander's have been nothing but graceful and courageous during this whole circus

Is anyone really shocked? Jodi sets it up so that she has to have a sealed courtroom with her identity concealed and then one of her own people "leaks" the info that it's her testifying (the "accidental" post on JAII that was "supposed" to be in their Vent Room"). And it appears that the Media fell for it, pouncing on that "leak" and gleefully reporting it. Cue the blame on the Alexanders. Now she'll scream for a mistrial again. Jodi once again manipulates the media exactly as she wants to (or so it would appear).

But what harm was really done by "exposing" that it was her testifying? It just puts her in the spotlight once again, and right after the VIS. Redirect, redirect. It doesn't negate her conviction for 1st degree murder with aggravation. Nice try.

That Sue's a piece of work, isn't she?

IMO, MOO, etc.

How does Aunt Sue know the leak is correct if the family wasn't even told who was testifying? Very interesting wording on her part. There is no way IMO that the Alexander's leaked this. They have nothing to gain by it, and so much to loose. Interesting that Aunt Sue says the defense team wouldn't tell them, but she doesn't clear Jodi as being the leak. Very telling Aunt Sue.

I am sure her family knows she is up there. I mean, they had a closed meeting with JA mom. They know, but 1)they don't know what she is saying but at least know she DID take the stand or 2)they know she is railroading them and are in on it.

I'll bet Mommy Arias told everyone after the boot. Amazing this Aunt can't keep her big trap shut. I mean if she is so concerned about her family and all.

If you go to twitter and put in Jodis name in the search bar, you will see other family members knew last week they may not be getting in the court room. HMMM

Part of Jodi's argument during closing last time is that she is beneficial because she can continue to donate all of her glorious hair to locks of love in prison. That was really her argument. Well, I notice she is greying and locks doesn't accept any hair with grey in it. I guess she will have to find something else that makes her a benefit to society....anyone.....anyone?

Excellent point RickshawFan. I'll bet more than a few notebooks contain the word "gold-digger".

I would add some more gems: "grooming a victim", "black widow"......

Well, how ironic. So basically she's confirming something that was still more or less a rumour. In effect, she just spilled the beans.

Arrogance and stupidity = dangerous combination
