Thigns I found interesting from the police report:

Upon further investigation into the incident, I spoke with Hank Croslin Jr on his own. Hank stated that he, Lisa and Hank Sr had gotten a phone call from Misty who was crying and yelling. He said that Misty asked for them to come to her residence and pick her up because she no longer wanted to be at the residence with Ronald...

...He said that after they got in their physical altercation, he entered his vehicle in an attempt to drive away and Ronald entered the vehicle on the passenger side and began striking him again. He said that at that time, he drove away and went to the Kangaroo in Welaka to call 911.

Hank Jr was transported to Putnam Community Medical Center complaining of injury to his neck and head.

After speaking with Hank Jr, I spoke with Lisa Croslin. Lisa stated that she was not sure what Ronald was on but he was not in the right state of mind. She said that up until now she never knew him as being violent. She said that they had received a phone call from her daughter Misty screaming and crying. She said that she was worried about her daughter and went to the residence to check on her. She said that when they arrived on scene Ronald went crazy. She said that when they were in the driveway of the residence Ronald came to the vehicle and hit her son. Lisa completed a written sworn statement in reference to the incident.

It should be noted that Hank Sr was at the scene as well. He stated that he did not wish to complete a written or recorded statement. He said that he did not want his daughter to be mad at him so he did not want to take any action. He did state though that he was at the residence when the fight occurred. He said that Ronald went crazy on his son. He said that they arrived and Ronald came out irate. He said that Ronald hit his son several times and then was forced back into the residence. He stated that after a few more minutes Ronald came back out and initiated another fight. He said that they got into three separate physical altercations before leaving the residence to call 911. No written or recorded statement was provided. He stated that he would be willing to speak in court if a subpoena was issued for him.

After speaking with all three of those subjects, I located Ronald Cummings at 216 4th Avenue. Upon initial contact, I detained Ronald Cummings for my safety and the safety of all others at the scene. It should be noted that Ronald Cummings is usually in possession of some sort of hand gun and it was mentioned that he may have been in possession of it at the current time. Ronald was taken outside of the residence by me and Deputy Nelson. Sgt Cecil Manning stayed in the residence with Misty Croslin and Ronald's grandmother Annette Sykes. Ronald was asked to explain what happened with Hank Croslin Jr. He stated to me that he did not wish to speak that it was his right to remain silent. At that time, I asked Deputy Nelson to stay with Ronald while I spoke with Misty and Annette.

Upon speaking with Misty she stated that she had talked to her brother on the telephone. She said that she asked him why he had been calling her residence all day. She said that he asked her if he could come over and she said no because it was too late. She said that he then made a big ordeal about not being able to see her and said he was coming over anyway. She said that when he arrived at the residence, he began a verbal altercation with Ronald. She then said that Hank Jr came at Ronald and a physical altercation began. She said that Ronald went into the residence as instructed by his grandmother. When Hank did not leave the residence Ronald came back out and another physical altercation began. Misty said that she was trying to break up the fight and got hit in the face two times by Hank Jr and her dad Hank Sr because she was in the middle of the fight. She said that they fought for a little while longer and then her brother and mom and dad left. Misty completed a sworn written statement in reference to the incident.

Ronald completed a sworn written statement in reference to the incident and also signed charging affidavits against Hank Croslin Jr and Sr for battery.

Photographs were taken of Ronald Cummings and Hank Croslin Jr's injuries. The photographs have been uploaded onto the PCSO website for further review. At this time, the charging affidavits against Hank Croslin Jr and Sr will be forwarded to the State Attorney's Office for further review.
 
Police report says Ron was detained at the scene for the deputies safety, it should be noted Ron usually has a gun on him.

a. the police have usual status for encounters with Ron?
b. he regularly carries a gun with him? a registered gun with a permit?
 
Wow...in the police report, Misty's story coincides with NO one else's including GGM and RC! From what I can discern, GGM seems to confirm what the Croslin's said basically, and RC admits that he was the one who "pushed" TC first to start the altercation.

IMO, there is no way any PCSO officer would arrest RC on a "whim" as some have accused. They all know very well what a hornet's nest this all is going to become. The injuries in such situations often tell the real story, and Ron's face shows nothing of any sort of injury in the booking photo.

OF MAJOR NOTE, though, are the several sentences regarding how RC is known to carry handguns on him at all times. SCARY....but then again....not a world that I am familiar with! JMOO
 
I don't know the age of AS but she must be one tough broad if she "pushed or shoved" whatever, the three of them into the van and slammed the door shut....sad that at her age (assuming she is elderly) that she has to deal with this but maybe this is just their way of "normal" life to them. And who knows this may not be the first altercation since RC has been staying with her.
 
I can't wrap my head around the comments that people are making. I have been pretty clear in regards to Ronald and Crystal, neither of them IN MY OPINION, are involved in the disappearance of Haleigh. I get on here this morning and I am just flabbergasted.

I don't understand how it is that Ronald is in jail and not one member of the Croslin Clan are behind bars with him. I understand that Ronald reached in the car or jumped in the car or whatever and that is why he was charged....but jiminy crickets 3 people entered the Sykes property without permission and would not leave? Misty herself stated she told them not to come, In Misty's statement she says she told them not to come and that they needed to go.

LOL, I can only imagine what my hubby would do if an uninvited guest arrived in the dark of the evening to pick a fight and wouldn't leave. This is all very sad indeed. But, the one thing that really speaks to me is how sad this all is for Haleigh.

It seems to me both men should have been arrested too. If the brother hit Ron and then Ron hit him. It's hard to believe that if you stick your arm into someone's vehicle it is called burglery. I've never heard of such a thing. Glad that isn't the law here. I'm really curious as to what brought this family over to grannys. They gave their permission for Misty to marry Ron. They must have thought he was alright then. I can't imagine that family getting to upset about anything going on with their kids. They seem pretty lax to me.

That's exactly why I wonder if more is going on with the Croslins than meets the eye.

IMO the reason Misty's story doesn't match anyone elses is because Ron didn't have 4-8 hours to coach her this time
 
It doesn't surprise me that Misty's statement was different than everyone elses on the scene.

What FOUR people are your referring to....this is how misinformation comes to be repeated as truth. There were 3 people who arrived, and they were attempting to leave when RC jumped into the car and assaulted one of them for the third time. (NOT MY OPINION, this is from the police report.)
 
IMO,his temper and real bad side just caught the attention of his true self.........now there may be some clues to find Haleigh and what really happened to her!...........he uses his fists! IMO

Pardon me, however many people came to the Sykes house, and I did read the police report. Of course it was wrong for Ronald to jump in someone else's car. He must have been very angry. I just think there should be more arrests after reading the police report, I never said Ronald SHOULDN'T have been arrested.

lol....I went back and edited my post for you, I surely don't want to lead to misinformation being repeated.
 
If RC's so prone to his firearms... in reality (I know he blusters about it)... when croslin's showed up, does anyone else think all he had to do was stand there with his gun and tell them to leave his property? Shoot in the air maybe? No instead he went to fisticuff, his g'ma tells him to get in the house and he does the first time. Seems odd to me if he was soooo into his guns, the second time why didn't he come out brandishing one????

It is possible that there may well be more arrests coming.

"Photographs were taken of Ronald Cummings and Hank Croslin Jr's injuries. The photographs have been uploaded onto the PCSO website for further review. At this time, the charging affidavits against Hank Croslin Jr and Sr will be forwarded to the State Attorney's Office for further review. "

It seems that the SA will make that determination. From what I learned in my time in Florida, it seems likely that they might have erred on the side of caution with RC. Let's not forget that Misty's brother alleges that she called for help. LE is familiar with the behavior of battered spouses and know that their stories change from minute to minute.

I also find this odd...

She steps into a group of 3 men fighting and her father and brother are the ONLY ones that had crappy aim with their blows? And why wasn't Granny Sykes hurt when she was pushing and shoving everyone in the van?

As I always feel with this case, it seems there is no one telling the "whole" truth. At least it brings more attention to the plight of lil Haleigh.
