I think that is the most lucid I have ever heard him and the most straightforward. Not that I am ready to believe anything he says, but he just sounds more "real" than in other interviews.

JMO Gracenote but the only sound I hear is Ronald being "real" scared.

About 3/4 of the way through the audio recording, RC tells the reporter that he got the exclusive and he'll always get the exclusive. It really struck me as funny when the reporter asked if anyone else had tried to interview him and RC said, "I haven't got time to..." and quickly changed what he was saying. LOL

Oh yeah Ron, you've got plenty of time. LOL

RC was very, very interested in getting daily copies of the newspaper from this reporter too.

once again...omg...someone needs to tell him that infamous and famous are not one in the same...omg..:sick:

IMO, Ron is no where near having the effects of being "locked up for an extended stay" he has no clue, and is in for a rude awakening.

1. He is fortunate to have a lengthy phone call, they are expensive and the family, or others pay, for the privilege.

2. He is fortunate to have someone send him a "hometown" newspaper, just to keep up with something familiar...he is not there yet...so that tells me a lot.

3. He is fortnate to have a "journalist" following his case, I know it is not about his drug but about HC..that is priceless when you are in jail/

4. He can talk all the smack he wants, but when he is moved to the general population (which I don't see any time soon) he will really be in for a rude awakening. Inmates are people too, just in a different enviroment, no matter what they have done, many can have the biggest hearts of anyone who is free. We don't know all of their circumstances. But they don't like anything that hurts children or their mothers (if they have one)

Word gets around fast in jails and prisons....amazing.

RE: Part bolded above:  By golly I think you're onto something suspicious1! Seeing your account of Ronald's recent words & actions grouped in your post got me to thinking. AFAWK Ronald hasn't been questioned yet about HaLeigh since this latest arrest - matter of fact I'd bet $$$ (that is if I had any $$$ to bet) that they're pretty much ignoring him purposely in order to let his paranoia crank up. When he finds out (more than likely by mommy dearest) that some of his co-hort's bonds are being reduced, Ronald's worries mount even more - he's scared that someone within the group has flipped on him. I don't think he's getting anything out of LE right now except the cold shoulder and phone call allowances which makes perfect sense - He's doing exactly what LE wants him to do; he's "reaching out" to the media, Teresa, and probably anybody else that he thinks might have some "insight" about what LE may have on him. Can't wait to see his reaction when/if a little birdie tells him that LE is spending a great deal of time with one/some of the others arrested in the group... his paranoia (not knowing what's going on) will be his undoing. JMHO -

That was beautiful!

"When I get out, I should be doing what I should be doing and not what I'm accused of doing."

WHAT ??????

Did you actually hear him? Or read the transcripts? He stumbled on that on audio... it doesn't sound clear... But he messed up and backtracked on that. lol LOL

Is it also possible that they are leaving the lights on in rc jail cell to make him lose it? He did say he was sleeping under his cot? I always thought they had lights out at night?

and real sober with reality setting in..

This is probably the first time we have ever heard him sober..

Same BSing, self serving, playing the victim Ron.... just minus some of the over the top dramatics than before.. imo...:loser:

Ron hasn't changed his mind about the 911 call, not one bit.

That's funny. Neither have I. :furious:

 Neither have I.

I hadn't followed this case from the start, first time I really started paying attention was the inFamous Today Show interview. I wasn't really sure what to think after seeing it, but I thought (one) and/or both of them were lying. I then looked at a couple of articles I found, and came across the 911 call, from that moment on, my opinion has not changed.

I hope and pray that one of these :loser: s break and bring Haleigh home, she deserves it.

I can believe Ron would "bite his nose off to spite his face" as the expression goes..he has had no use for Misty..since the night this happened. He said"*****,How did you let someone take "MY"Child." I believe he had nothing to do with her actual death but I do believe his life style contributed to his daughters death..and I know he feels that pain.
Misty, hadn't been around this child long enough to actually love her...she was either so drugged out that she really has no idea...or she was on a drug run and her "kin" came to visit .Finding the children alone..took Haleigh...There are alot of places to hide a small body between where this happened and where Misty's Mom and Family's relatives live in Tennessee.
The one I am talking about is the kin that Ron scuffled with and the gun was lost then later recovered. This person leaving the day she went missing...who does that? woudn't you turn around and go help hunt for your cousins child since you were just there visiting and taking advantage of their hospitality.
I think Ron would allow himself to be caught just to set Misty up ,to see if she would tell what happened.
My goodness,How could they have not thought that LE was not watching them??
I guess they havn't watched any CSI or crime stoppers!! and I know they aren't members of WS or they would be smarter!!!

gibby, it was such a good example of why Ronald needs to keep talking, have you heard it?

Ron's exact words after telling the reporter that he loved his mom, girlfriend, etc...were..

."This is a setback in my life..when I come out and remind me what I should be doing and not what I was doing..whatever, whatever..not what I was accused of doing"

First let me say, that made not one bit of sense to me. He just talks in circles. I listen to these comments that he and TN keep making and I'm like huh? :waitasec: Do they realize what that just said? or have any idea just how ridiculous they sound? It's hard to keep the truth straight when you are lying through your teeth, huh Ronald?

Here is the link again for anyone who hasn't heard it..the part quoted above
is just a little more than 1/2 way through. (sorry, no minute markers)

WARNING: Have strong drink and empty trash can beside you before listening. :D

I HAVE heard it... and it's circles...made no sense. It was like the reporter was trying to draw out what he THOUGHT Ron was trying to say. But that instance... with the "not what I was doing.... whatever... what I was accused of..." PFT! Slam dunk for his prosecution! duh!! lol

You are absolutely right, mgardner. I do not trust Ron-not one bit. The fact that LE wants to find out what happened to Haleigh first and the drug bust was secondary. The fact Ron states Misty and Tommy's bond have been lowered but not his. The fact that Ron feels the need to do interviews over the phone about his current situation, yet when LE was trying to talk to him months ago about Haleigh, Ron said he wasn't doing any more interviews. The fact that TN feels the need to show her face again on tv to support her son, blaming everything on Misty. all this tells me is that Ron is their main focus right now. Misty may be the "KEY', but imo, Ron is the "LOCK". just sayin

Ron keeps saying "If he finds out who took Haleigh, he would KILL them" but Ron "when was the last time you actually searched for Haleigh. You wasn't looking for anyone when you was on the outside, so what are you going to do from the inside? NOTHING....ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

:clap: to your entire post......and especially to the part I bolded.

"It's hard to believe she doesn't know more, but it's also hard to believe that if she did know more she ain't already talked," Cummings said. "Especially if they got her locked up like they got me."

What is he playing at? IF they got her locked up? Does he pretend he doesn't know that she's locked up? I understand that he was actually there when Misty got arrested and I'm sure it would have come up in conversation during one of his eight daily phonecalls to loving relatives if Misty had been released.

As I see it, he is still "playing them and everyone else he can and has no intentions of doing anything else but to continue to play the game

I sure hope to hell that Misty starts talking and tells what she knows. My biggest fear is that she does not know exactly what happened the day/night Haleigh disappeared because of her being high on drugs or being unconscious because of drugs. I am now also questioning if she was home at all that night. In an effort to look like she is cooperating and get some leniency for herself, Misty might make up even more stories as to what happened. Ron, I am sure, is spending some anxiety ridden moments wondering what Misty is going to do or say. Good.

My question is this: IF Misty WERE high on drugs that night, or sleeping soundly from taking drugs/medication .... how or why, would she be as alert as she was, when she made the 911 phone call?

She sounded fairly awake and alert to me ... and apparently to LE when they got there, or I would think they would have noticed and made note of the fact that she appeared high, drunk or somewhat incoherent. Don't ya think?

And wouldn't they have tested her that night? Just wondering ...

The problem is we don't know how much time expired "after the fact" when that call was made. It's really anybody's guess when Haleigh disappeared.

I dunno.. IMO there was quite a lot of the huh factor in that 911 call, she kept having difficulties comprehending and/or answering some simple factual questions, like what Haleigh looks like, and she never managed to convey that it's not actually her daughter that's missing nor her husband that is furious. It might have been drugs talking, or maybe the coming-off-a-binge stupor. And didn't someone say that Misty and Tommy were smoking pot earlier in the evening? I can't remember the source now, was it just a rumor or did they admit it?

Would we know if she had been tested and found to have been under the influence of something? How long would her weekend party treats show in the tests?

I just heard the jail interview. Ron wants a newspaper ? I really like how he said that he is giving the reporter an "exclusive", GMAB.

Now his girlfriend is anonymous ? Don't we already know her name Ron, she's the one who was with Haleigh the night she disappeared.
