I think this was only reported in the daily mail which is not a reliable news outlet.

The lady camper was also in the first Facebook group (that was then shut down) and kept changing her story a few times.

The campers only said they saw her on Saturday morning though not Sunday, the day she went missing.

But would not take the campers’ story as a piece of evidence at all
Regarding you saying that the Daily Mail is not a reliable news outlet (I don't know how the tabloids work in Australia), BUT, in the UK (where I live), it is known that the most accurate information in the newspapers is released by The Sun and The Daily Mail. Love them or loathe them, they are both very powerful players in the industry

Agree. The search being called off, the lack of police warning women walking alone to be cautious.. to me this indicates that the potential of this being misadventure or a random attack /abduction is highly unlikely.

IMO that leaves us with only two options.

1) They know who is responsible for Sam’s disappearance and this person is not a risk to the greater community, indicating a potential relationship of some kind between Samantha and the person responsible for her disappearance.

Or

2) Samantha has left of her own accord.

you said it more eloquently - i agree. If 2) - then husband likely part of the production.

Do you have a link for this information please???

AFAIK Police have not released the time of the ping. And I have never heard of a morning ping ????

Police confirmed her mobile phone did ping at a telecommunications tower 11km from her home.

It is understood a local mobile phone tower registered a ping from Ms Murphy's phone on Sunday, after she disappeared, but police refused to say more about the timing or location of the phone.

The DM has also published this, but I would speculate it came from social media as no exact time was given ….

Her mobile phone later pinged a local cell phone tower around 5pm on Sunday - which can only locate her anywhere within 17km of nearby Buninyong.

This was ten hours after she left home, and is where the trail of clues runs cold.

IMO

You need water to survive more than three days and in the case of Julie Schutt, homeowners noticed that it seemed someone was using their garden tap.

If she is alive she would now need to be where she has access to water.

I think you could probably do without water if you had access to some kinds of fruits that were juicy, like an orchard, or fruit trees in someones backyard. I just think the spring fruiting season is finished now.
I might be wrong. I just know our bats have moved on :)

I do notice this time there is no request from the police for people to look in their sheds etc for her as they do in some
missing person cases,
True.

3x3
One only survives with:

3 minutes without breathing
3 days without water
3 weeks without food

I was told this during my Scouting days when I was a girl :)

Just read this article :

Detectives from Victoria Police's Missing Persons Unit attended the Murphy property on Wednesday morning.

The detectives spent more than an hour inside before leaving.

The family property is at the centre of the investigation. It is the place where Ms Murphy was last seen on February 4, as she embarked on her morning jog.

Ms Murphy's husband, Mick, continues to be supported by family members and is understood to be cooperating with the specialised unit, which is attached to Victoria Police's Homicide Squad.

You ask
and here you are...

But
is it true?
A lot of DM news seems to come from FB. No other media reported about Ruby. Never mind. It doesn't seem related to SM disappearance. Might have been if the dog was murdered.

Take a look at the body language of the cop in this clip.
I’m glad you raised this. I was very interested in the body language and interactions between the police officer, husband and daughter during the interview, some bits really stood out to me although in the absence of knowing them or seeing what is normal for them it’s hard to really know if it’s unusual.

I am no body language or crime analyst and will not speculate on here specifically as it’s an horrific situation for the family and community and I’m sure there are much better trained eyes on this.

Which bits stood out to you Zanzibar?
