Im also wondering if pings and watch data is enough, even if PS phone pings match up, if his vehicle was caught on cctv , would they need the footage to show him personally being the driver for eg.
I linked an article a few pages back about a group of youths who stole cars and whilst on a "10 day crime spree" deliberately ran into cyclists (this was in Victoria and the 10 day timespan would have been about a week before SM dissapeared IIRC)
If PS was to claim for eg that he came home, passed out leaving his phone in his car, and his vehicle 'must' have been stolen overnight as it was parked in a different spot upon waking and had damage...that could account for all sorts of the evidence we are assuming police may have.
Im not saying this would hold up if not true, but it could possibly happen, even evidence of a crime inside the vehicle could be blamed on the thieves.
I think they must have more to actually place him personally at the scene.
Also, I wonder if PS has actually remained silent...or if he has given some kind of story like the above, would they still report he is not cooperating with police?
It seems like it might be pretty easy to frame someone with pings and data alone.
