May the new week bring new answers...

:Justice:

I agree lets hope we hear something this week, from what i understand from DD,CD talk on that breakfast buzz radio show, he said LE should bring news soon,,,lets just hope and pray that Drexel family will get closeure soon,,

It's sad that the flyers at pole yard are gone, I had at least 4 or 5 around there...

:( Sounds like I will have to go back and post more... I didn't get to make it out that way this weekend; spring cleaning got the best of me.

My signs are incredibly tough... I use heavyweight paper, sheet protectors and 1/4" staples.... (OMG I love my staple gun.. it's loud and has a little "kick")

Hopefully soon I can get back out there and post some more... For those of you who have not seen them before, I have a bunch of pics of the areas where I posted flyers and what-not... see them here:

THANK YOU for giving me a good laugh this morning!!!

OT LOL about your staple gun MLatta! You are using it for good purposes in posting Britt's fliers. Thanks for all you do and for the morning chuckle!

I havent posted much the last couple of days but keeping up here everyday too. Makes me imagine, how frustrated we are when it seems we 'hit a wall' with information and deciphering it, how extremely frustrated the family and searchers, CUE, etc must be at this point.

I too have wondered if she is with her phone. I have my doubts about it now, but if the timeline is correct with that tight time of the reported 'first pings' at this area being 10:18 PM, I do believe she was at least there with it at that specific time. Otherwise, there is NO WAY this could have been done with only one vehicle - it would take two to get her to another point and her phone to this point. I've often wondered if the purse was tossed in this area and she was then taken elsewhere, but I don't see how it would be possible for her to have been taken somewhere, then the phone taken to this area with that tight timeline. And of course, we still have to take into consideration the 'tips' that came in early December that led LE back to this area to search.

Hope there is information/breaks soon, very soon.

Thanks for posting those pictures again for us, mlatta. Helps get a feel for the area and perspective on so much. Looks like you are all over the main areas of interest.

Yea, it's about time that this case comes to a close. I pray that this ends very, very soon and I think it will. I feel the answers are coming soon to end this horrendous wait for DD, CD, and fam. The investigators seem to be right there!

At some point in time the police are going to have to turn the heat up on the POI's. I do believe the police are making a diligent effort to solve this, but so far their methods have not worked. It sounds like they had a few of them in for a brief interrogation but could not get anyone to crack. They have tried to handle it internally by asking their friends/family to help but that is a shot in the dark. For all we know their friends could be criminals with no reason to speak and most of their family members might be ignorant to the fact that their relatives are involved in this, since the police have not formally named anyone. I hope we can find out more about them soon.

Is it possible they intended to rape her....abducted her off the street, put her in the trunk, and she suffocated? I've never really given much thought to Brittanee still being in MB, but I suppose it could be that they wrapped her in something, or placed her in the trunk, where she died from a lack of oxygen. Then, when they got to their location, they realized she had passed away and didn't know what to do, so they dumped her there....or they dumped her in N Santee River, but took her purse with them, or just accidentally left it in the vehicle and didn't want to return to the river....so they dropped it somewhere else, or several other places they believed no one would visit.

Going back to the drugs for a moment, there are numerous drugs that increase your heartrate substantially. I know, back when I used to be a little experimenter, I sometimes felt like I couldn't breathe, or like I had a heavy weight on my chest. I suppose it's possible that they gave her some cocaine that was too strong for her....and she had a heart attack or stroke right there in the vehicle.
Especially if you add the fear element....I could imagine her getting extremely riled up and her heartrate increasing exponentially. Anyway, just thinking of possibilities.

Medications such as painkillers and benzodiazepines (anti-anxiety) can cause shallowed breathing. Many high schoolers are now into these medications and they are very dangerous. Many people overdose on them and stop breathing. What if Brit went to sleep and never woke up wherever she was partying?

Ok, here's another thought. I'm trying to think about scenarios that would be considered 'accidents'. What if Brittanee was sober and walking home...just starting out. And the guys who abducted her weren't sober at all. What if they were drunk or high on something, swerving all over the road...and hit her. They put her in the vehicle with the intent of taking her to the hospital...but they see she's lost too much blood...and they are trashed and don't want to be caught.

Just wish we knew what the questions were that LE asked the two PsOI on the polygraph tests and what the actual outcomes were. Feel like that would help us all decide if we think she could possibly be alive somewhere. (I know most of probably deep in our hearts believe the worst but pray for the best.) Seems like LE made the assumption that this is a homicide case possibly based on the information they are receiving from these "at least 4" PsOI. I'd like to consider the possibility, at least for a different direction to go in for discussion, that she was picked up and taken out of state. All of this searching and hard work could be in vain as all along she may have been wisked away to any state in the country. Just how in the world, after a whole year, would a person be searched for in that case. My only thought is another presentation on AMW. I watched a program on I think the ID channel where a family of 4 was swept away in their car in a flood. The parents and one of their children made it out but one daughter, I think about 14 years old, did not make it out. The family or investigators turned to a forensics psychic and she supposedly (if you believe in this sort of thing) made a spiritural contact with the girl and was able to determine where her body was and then she was found. Have any actual forensic psychics been consulted as far as we know? I am not a true believer in these things but stranger things have happened, or at least it seems. Just bringing this all up to get a discussion going again as we have begun to spin our wheels again. Most of this post is not even my own opinion, just my imagination running away with me or wishful thinking too.

Rethinking my above post, would not want the family and friends to get false hopes about her being alive in another state, and I guess this thought goes completely against what LE says they know so far. But DD did mention recently again, the trafficking possibility. Just feels so frustrating we cannot get one single shred of evidence at this point. Praying the family gets some kind of answers soon. Bumping for Britt and her family.

There still few of Mlatta posters out there, and i didnt go on all dirt roads he did, due most are private, and our mlatta rode his bike, so it could be more, but when you post stuff like at boat landings ppl just tear up for no reason,,,,,i do know ones he put up at stores on the highway was still up,,,,,

Detectives: Phone call not from Brittanee Drexel

Detectives say there's no truth to a claim that missing spring breaker Brittanee Drexel called her grandmother over the weekend.

Drexel's grandmother got a call from a restricted number two nights ago and heard muffled voices. The grandmother thought it was Brittanee. When detectives traced the call, it turned out it came from Drexel's mother Dawn. They say it was an unintentional "pocket" dial.

Drexel vanished April 25th of last year from Ocean Boulevard and has not been seen since.

Sorry...can't buy that scenario. Weaving on OB would have been noticed. A big pool of blood on the sidewalk/roadway would have been noticed as well as possible blood splatter/droplets of blood. And possible pieces of broken parts of a vehicle could have been left at the scene.

Someone would have seen erratic behavior.. A car swerving...possibly slamming on its brakes...guys hopping out and grabbing up a body...especially if they were that drunk and couldn't control a vehicle...I think they wouldn't be under enough control to be able to do this effectively.

If that were the case - hit by a drunk driver - they would have been smarter to left her where she lay.

But that's just my :twocents:

There are several wonderful psychics out there. I named one on the Morgan Harrington board and was blasted by someone who came to WS to specifically bash me and this woman. I will not (Noreen) put her name together (Renier) so whoever this was out searching in a search engine will come and disrupt this thread. There are others - but she has a proven track record.

I know who you are talking about. She had a show on CTV back when it was CTV, I think! I remember too, she is the one Jackie Peterson herself contacted to help with Laci and she needed a personal item of Laci's sent to her. So, kindhearted, thoughtful, worried husband he was, Scott got right on that and sent her a shoe of Laci's - that she had never worn. :loser:

As far as whether they had consulted one, I thought I had heard they had. Just found this.

http://www.whec.com/news/stories/S1174926.shtml?cat=566

She spent quite a bit of time going through Myrtle Beach with a psychic. At the same time she's coping with the fact that her first born will be 18 on Wednesday. They'd made lots of plans before Brittanee disappeared in Myrtle Beach April 25. She had gone there for spring break. “We had a lot of plans for her 18th birthday and she's not here, so it's very difficult.”

Brittanee's father Chad Drexel also talks of exhaustion. It's the not knowing what's happened to Brittanee that's the toughest to deal with. He tells us the talk show psychic identified a car he believes Brittanee got in. Drexel says the psychic saw a group of young men in that car. “It's a high human trafficked area and for my daughter to be tortured somewhere. I would rather her have gone in peace.”
