Found Deceased SC - Brittanee Drexel, 17, Myrtle Beach, 25 April 2009 - #16

I don't think Brittanee would get into a car with a complete stranger. I think she knew the person(s), even if just a little bit. I don't think it was planned but I don't think it was random either, I think someone saw an opportunity and took it. Could certainly be wrong about that though.

As others have mentioned, it was likely someone local to the area. Someone that knew where they could take her to commit the act and get rid of her quickly. I think the distance from MB they drove shows they had confidence in what they were doing.

The tough part is although the police may be able to narrow down the search area based on cell phone pings, it could be where they got rid of the phone. If they drove many miles after that it makes the search effort enormously difficult. I feel this is another case of someone coming forward with new information for anything to break.

I know that I read that one of the girl "friends" was very familiar with the area south of Myrtle Beach, maybe even had lived around the Georgetown area at one time. It would take literally forever to find the information again, but I do remember it was on this thread and web site. Does anyone else remember this information? I remember it because I've always thought that the girls know exactly what happened to Brittanee. I don't believe that LE questioned them adequately. I do believe the answers lie with the group that traveled to Myrtle Beach.

I know that I read that one of the girl "friends" was very familiar with the area south of Myrtle Beach, maybe even had lived around the Georgetown area at one time. It would take literally forever to find the information again, but I do remember it was on this thread and web site. Does anyone else remember this information? I remember it because I've always thought that the girls know exactly what happened to Brittanee. I don't believe that LE questioned them adequately. I do believe the answers lie with the group that traveled to Myrtle Beach.

JO lived in Lumberton NC I believe was the area she stayed in for awhile. It's where the photo of her was taken where she's in the same outfit Britt was in when she disappeared.

Some of the "friends" were only questioned via phone & as part of a group last I had heard. Each one needs to be questioned separately and face to face IMO.

I agree. Not to mention-who better to know who she was talking to at Club K? If course PB & crew were with her then as well but still, they could easily attest to that info. It's always been my opinion that even of they aren't guilty of something, they're in possession of some information that they don't even realize is important.

Just re-watched the Dr. Phil interview with Peter Brozowitz and I must say I really can't stand the young, arrogant, obnoxious *advertiser censored*. I just want to slap him out of his chair everytime I see him on tv. He was the last one to see Brittanee before her disappearance. He talked only about how badly he was thrown under the bus and boo the hell hoo. He has absolutely no concern for a missing girl. Unless someone comes up and confesses or police uncover a video showing what happened to Brittanee, I will continue to believe that this ............. is involved. I can't fill in the blank without referring to a male reproductive organ so I'll just leave it blank.

Also, I liked to know how this bozo can be a nightclub promoter when he was only twenty years old and not old enough to even buy an alcoholic beverage?:banghead:

That is what her parents are still asking for from all that I've read. (Edited to add but I believe at this point they're looking to have cause or someone that truly starts at the beginning.

I totally agree with both statements. The problem is that there are two PD's involved here. Rochester's and MBPD. I don't think they are working well together. When I spoke to Dawn, IIRC, she felt that was a big part of the problem. I don't think MBPD has enough to subpoena them to talk.

Reedus23-have you ever followed any of the statements made by Brittanees mother, or her posts on social media? A lot can be learned about what actually took place by things she says.

No I haven't. While I've checked in on Brittanee's case from time to time, I've never read it from thread 1. I've been doing that and have gotten up to thread 15 now. I'll check out their page, but generally, I try to stay away from social media and comments following newspaper articles. I'm sure good info can be gathered from there but one has to determine which one out of a 1000 can are accurate. I'd be interested in what she has to say directly though. Maybe once I'm caught up.

I think it was determined to be North Carolina and that's if that is even true. There was never anything that I saw here that definitively established that, but it absolutely was discussed. How, where and why that started....I have no idea.

Do we know this to be fact or is it fact that that is simply all we are aware of? I honestly don't know if LE or the girls have ever, themselves, said that was the only means of being interviewed.

Anthony S, Phillip W, Keith C and Matthew A all stated that they had met Brittanee Friday night at Club Kryptonite and then spent time with her Saturday morning, between 11am and 12pm on the beach. But we all know this to be untrue as we saw the cell phone video taken of Brittanee that Friday night, date stamped and given to MBPD...

No doubt he is an *advertiser censored** but I highly doubt he was involved in her abduction. By all accounts, he has cooperated fully with LE. LE has gone so far as to say he's not a POI. They're just not going to do that unless they're fairly certain. I completely get a mother wanting to hold on to hope. I'm sure I would too. Really, about the only way to hold onto that hope at this point is to hold on to the hope and belief that human trafficking is involved. I would be happy to be wrong, but I just don't think that is the likely case here.

Thanks because I certainly saw it discussed, but I also don't remember seeing it said straight from the horses mouth (LE/girls/boys). The only statement that I recall that comes remotely close is LE stating that BP has fully cooperated.

I could be wrong, but I believe those were, in fact, the initial contacts, when they were trying to find Brittanee immediately after she went missing. Those statements came from the police report from that Sunday, 4/26. Obviously those contacts would have to be by telephone because they were no longer in MB. I don't think the other option at that early of a stage was a good option, namely that instead of making immediate contact with the boys they wait until such time as LE could get up to NY to interview them.

What I am curious to know is if LE ever followed up with them and interviewed them. I am just curious how we know it wasn't done in the days/weeks/months/years since Brittanee went missing. I'm not too hung up on those initial reports because time was off the essence at that point

Minus the fact that Club K wasn't Friday as stated in the LE reports, it was Thursday. I know this to be fact from the research I did originally on the case on the "friends" FB pages. Those reports are FILLED with incorrect info.

It's mentioned in the link I supplied that all of the guys gave the same story about meeting Brittanee on Friday. We know that's not true.

Where are you getting that LE has cleared anyone? MBPD have repeatedly said that nobody has been cleared.
