Thanks LLLindsayy. I'd say this is disappointing, but unfortunately, not surprising. Dashaun was never going to roll over on his father (or his brother or his buddies). If he did, he would be teeing them all up for the chair (which would be an unfairly kind penalty, if you ask me). His vile family and friends are probably happy to let him be the fall guy, and, sickeningly, he will likely gain some level of respect from those vermin for doing prison time instead of breaking the code. That being said, the G'town search makes me think there are other people talking to LE, and there are still parts of this story to be played out.

Lumberton, NC. It's north of MB not south. I don't know the school names.

Thanks Lindsay for clearing that up. I had read in an earlier thread that see had lived in MB and south of the strand. Thats why I didnt find her name in the Georgetown High School year books. Lets hope something cracks open today! DT's face will be shown all over Charleston today.

No problem. If you read a little further in the old threads you will see it is clarified where she lived.

A lot of good stuff can be found in the old threads. It takes awhile, but I encourage anyone who has the time to peruse them.

Unless I'm misremembering, I have read a long time back that JO lived south towards Charleston. Maybe closer to Georgetown. I don't remember anything about Lumberton, NC.
But....I can't remember what I ate for dinner two days ago either. I'll see if I can find .

OMG, does this mean he lied about what happened to BD or lied about who kidnapped, raped and murdered her or lied about his involvement? I would love to know what questions were asked.

In the past, he always claimed to know nothing about BD whatsoever, he was in school, etc. Whatever the questions were he failed & took another deal so as to not take a 2nd poly.

Failed about BD "after prosecutors said he failed a polygraph about the teenager who vanished from Myrtle Beach." http://www.postandcourier.com/news/m...2459b9997.html

Another article with similar information. It states that most of the questions he failed on the polygraph were regarding Brittanee's case, and that this was actually a recent polygraph examination. IIRC Dashaun submitted to a polygraph way back in 2009 or 2010, but I've never seen the results of that one. From what I can tell, the Feds seem to have a solid legal foundation for pursuing the robbery charges, and I really hope this judge doesn't come back with a decision to dismiss. I see a lot of the South Santee crowd (including BG) are commenting on some of these articles, defending Dashaun and proclaiming his innocence. Disgusting to imagine how many of those people know the truth, and how many of them may have participated in, or witnessed, Brittanee's final days.

I don't see any comments on this article. Can you post links to some of the articles with comments? TIA!

The one I saw was through Facebook. I'm not sure how to link it, but if you search "Brittanee Drexel" and look at the featured posts, look for one from Live 5 News.
