I'm sure they're just joking around. I wasn't a 16 year old girl THAT long ago and was quite fond of calling my friends "ugly b words" ... so mature. But as so many of you have pointed out, the behavior from these girls (ie publicly commenting on photos like this) could be indicative of what really went on in MB.

I'm back from the vet. Yes, she was pretty much forced to put up with them in order to stay with them. I'm still curious as to whose name the room was registered in. I'm also trying to keep all avenues open.

Just a thought....if B and the Marine JH were so tight, isn't it possible that they planned to meet up at some point in MB. Seems like they would want to get together if she was in the area. He wasn't stationed too far away from there right? and B's mother called him first to go to MB to see what was going on, so there obviously was a close connection with the family.

Does he have an alibi for that weekend, seems he was able to leave the base real quick to get to MB to check on her disappearance.

Maybe their "secret" was that they were planning to get together in MB.

Members of the Myrtle Beach and Georgetown communities can now log onto www.LRCF.org to download and distribute Drexel's flyer that contains information on her disappearance, physical description and emergency contact information.

Officials also say those who are aiding in Drexel's search efforts are on the lookout for a pink cell phone, believed to be owned by the missing teen.

There's a girl who is tagging some of the MB pics on JO's facebook with the words "this one"... and that is all.

I found her myspace site but don't see anything there about the situation.

I just thought it was interesting, as the other girls question the phrase in at least one of the pics as well.

Either the friends know something OR they are pissed off that Brittannee ran away and messed up their vacation.

I think the latter....if you read the myspace comments...they are showing no compassion for this young girl

There is information in this story about the later cell pings, but nothing about immediately after she went missing. It is true she could have been separated from the phone, but right now it is all they have to work from besides the accounts from her so-called friends who do not appear to be very helpful.

I still find the guy who left in the middle of the night very interesting. The fact he lawyered up is even more curious. He isn't telling everything, imo. Something went on that he freaked and took off from MB at 2:00 am. How many people leave their clothes, room deposit, and liquor behind? I just can't buy his story.

The girls she went to MB with are not much help either. Do these kids not understand what is at stake here? I have found that teens are most likely to hide the stupidest things from parents and LE in such cases. They feel they are being "loyal" or they don't want something personal to come out. I hope they finally realize a girl's life is hanging in the balance.

I know what you mean about Peters story. He said he went to another party after B left. If their cells pinged anywhere near Brittanees after 9PM that night I would make them a POI.

These girls give off a serious "mean girls" vibe... they don't care about B at all. I ponder if they told B she couldn't come with them, when they switched hotels... not that they JUST switched...
