Her mother took her and dropped her off in Blacksburg, SC. Then she got with several others who drove her places. She has many friends in Blacksburg, SCHow did she get from Fallston NC to Blacksburg SC? And then to Grover NC then to Gaffney SC? I didn’t see a vehicle description so guessing she doesn’t have one?
t has been more than a month since anyone has heard from Falon Michelle Cooksey, and her family wants to know she is OK.
The 30-year-old mother of two was spotted on June 10 outside a Food Lion grocery store on Cherokee Street in Blacksburg, South Carolina, according to Blacksburg Police Chief Jamie Ham.
(FOX CAROLINA) -- 365 days and counting. That’s how long Falon Michelle Cooksey has been missing.
Her family and friends say it’s hard dealing with the disappearance.
“It’s been tough the past year not knowing anything at all. Like, nothing. We hear stories and people saying “well I heard this, I heard this, but no one coming forward with anything concrete,” said Jamie Cooksey, a first cousin of Falon.
Details of Disappearance
A police officer saw and spoke to Cooksey at the Corner Shop Store on Cherokee Street in Blacksburg, South Carolina on the evening on June 10, 2018. She was seen at several other locations throughout the night.
In the early morning hours of June 11, a male friend picked her up at or near a residence on Highway 29 north near Grover, South Carolina, and drove her to the Gaffney Inn in Gaffney, South Carolina. Her cellular phone pinged in that area and she was active on text messaging until 9:32 a.m., after which either the phone was turned off or the battery died.
Cooksey has never been heard from again. She lived with her mother in Fallston, North Carolina at the time of her disappearance. She left behind two children, and her family stated it's uncharacteristic of her to not be in touch with them. Her case remains unsolved.
I was just about to post this but you beat me to it, lol.
Blacksburg Police Chief Jamie Ham is describing the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of a local woman as probably the most complex investigation he’s ever worked on in his career
Yeah, she went off track. I’ve found multiple Facebook pages for her and the photos in the YouTube video confirm it is her. That April 19 post has an interesting comment. Sadly, it's something along the lines of what I was thinking.
Also noting the Charley Project shows her to have been picked up in Grover, SC. I believe that should be Grover, NC. With her noted as living in Fallston, NC - that would make much more sense. All JMOO
Glad to see they're still working this. They have updated this case on whns.com. The state LE is involved and local agency says it remains active.
