Regarding the "shooting" incident... I wonder if it could have been fireworks, since it seems legal to sell and use them year round here in SC.

Hog incinerator came to mind. I know just up the road in NC is full of them. Not sure about just west of Myrtle.

last nite I was thinking about volatile families like my ulster irish old south family- and wondered if these families involved have a similar heritage and similar way of thinking- sort of like hatfield and mccoys- if someone did away with Heather- could have been they were handing out their mixed up idea of justice- if the peeps in the clan were involved- well that would be a form of vigilante action I think-anyway thinking of old southern home growns got me thinking about the hog aspect of getting rid of bodies, so when I saw it mentioned by someone else earlier, wanted to post, now off to class- abnormal psych- my family background gives me natural understanding and empathy- well I guess lots of families could do.

I don't feel that is happening here based on the last two months of inactivity involving this (Moorer) family. Vigilante justice is emotionally fueled.

Accounting for LE feeling confident Heather drove her car to PTL..and SM having plain dumb luck for having been in contact with Heather from 2 to 6 a.m. ? And SM being in contact with HE until 6 a.m leaves a very small window for stranger abduction, as am fairly certain her car was noticed at PTL was most likely spotted by fisherman or duck hunters close to day break .

Anyone have a scenario to point to a stalker , violent ex or stranger abduction ?

A few threads back I wrote that she could have fell into the clutches of the same person that nabbed BD. As more information has come out, I think the chances of that are becoming less and less. About the only way it could have happened is for a the perp to spot her parked at the PTL and nabbed her then. But, I don't think it happened that way.

A mod said I could link to these folks...I would like to see them involved in Heather's case.

http://www.necrosearch.org/index.html

They specialize in locating clandestine graves and recovering evidence and bodies in and around those graves in cases where no one else has had success. They work with LE.

I saw a forensics files program over the weekend that featured the Michelle Wallace case. Her case was cold and she had been missing for 20 years. NecroSearch found her remains shortly after they began searching, based on their methods of determining where a grave/body is likely to be.

I've thought for a time now that it will take specialized resources and personnel to locate Heather because of what I believe was a planned disappearance and a well-chosen disposal method and site. I'm sure law enforcement agencies have many of the tools that NecroSearch has, but there comes a point where specialists are needed, and these teams have diverse and very specific high level skill sets devoted strictly to finding evidence and remains. I would so like to see this type of resource tapped for finding Heather.

Also wondering if others are familiar with this organization and other work they've done that might apply to Heather's situation and case type.

Thank you so much for posting this. I've not heard of this organization and am very interested.

Wow, I have never heard of them, boy do I have a list of cases for them :tantrum:. I bet that is call no family wants to make, I am assuming the family is responsible for that.

After Heather, I immediately thought of Sierra Lamar.

I wonder if MSM had info about the alleged shooting incident anytime close to 2/6 when it happened? If so, why wait to print it? The article was published 12 days after it happened. I just find this curious because if all events occurred as reported public safety is at risk.

If the shooting happened, and "If" here is stressed by me, I wonder who considering 2/6 was the evening of the Boathouse event for Heather and all the family, friends, and most supporters were at this event. So the "white truck" they are implying is the same type of vehicle they described in an earlier police report of trespassing which seemed to imply TE or BB. But TE and BB were both at the Boathouse event on 2/6.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I hope you will share this with the admins of the FHEFB page. Heather needs to be found!! This is so unfair to her and her family. I am convinced evilness took her and continues to hide what happened.

Warning if you are sensitive to wild animal control measures.

Feral pigs are a huge problem at our farm one county over. They can root up an entire field three feet deep in one night.

They are a huge problem down in Georgetown County on Hobcaw, too, and those hogs are infected so they have to be burned in a pit after culling.

LOL, I've been hunting wild hogs for years in the north ga mountains. Yes, some are carriers of hepatitis E, but can be tested to rule out for human consumption. Hogs don't sweat & need swamp land, rivers, ponds, etc., to survive, are very intelligent, can pick up a scent 6 miles away or 20+ feet in the ground. They are prolly the most effective of scavengers..

'If not exploding instant biscuits, possibly someone night hunting feral hogs, or Appalachians(Hatfield & McCoys), or the Klan, well I just don't know'..

With Necrosearch...do they need a specific area to search? If so, what would that be? Same with Sierra...she could have been taken anywhere. I am familiar with them, but was under the impression that they are usually directed to a likely area.

Yes, I am doing that. I also sent the link to LE. If the latter is presumptuous or offends, oh well. I'm not sure all LE agencies even know of this resource so I figured I'd send an email.

I want to see Heather come home.

And glad this is useful to other posters. Can you imagine if teams like this could be brought into more cases? if, God forbid, this happened to someone I love, I would hope these kinds of people and skill sets would be used to bring my loved one back to me, and to answer questions that perhaps cannot be answered other than through specialized forensics and searching. Heather's location and the condition of her body - presuming she is deceased, and I think we all make that presumption, sadly - is so critical to obtaining any measure of justice for her and her family.

Just happened to flip on MSNBC and saw the piece on Michelle. I'm sure it would be hard for a family to know NecroSearch's services were necessary...but I would think it would also be comforting. Michelle Wallace was finally laid to rest because of this organization, and it was instrumental in tying her perp to another victim as well.

This is the description of how they approach a case:

Sounds like they request specific information that tells them where they want to be and with what methods.

LOL! I've been thinking about this duel for the last day or so... now I'm going to have it stuck in my head when I go to bed tonight!

My husband tells me he has yet to meet someone who is actually from Charleston.

Wow that's a lot of good information in one post. Thank you.

Myrtle Beach/Horry Co., SC has a silent Epidemic of unsolved missing/murdered persons cases, yet their priorities are misplaced, imo.. First they arrest 2 concerned citizens for lending a helping hand to the parents of a missing child; Heather Elvis, and now this;

I wonder if necrosearch could evaluate the entire area...could find Brittany and Heather...
