Besides where is Heather the next question I would love for someone to answer is the times of those IE charges. It will probably paint a picture for us.

That timeline and the details on the phone records would be most enlightening.

I also want to know whether or not the issue of HE leaving PTL with the M's is media language or an actual LE statement. Do we know and have I missed that somewhere?

I think TM committed the act and used her own hands but I'm thinking more of trauma to the head.

But if that happened at PTL, head wounds leave a lot of evidence. I had something fall on my that hit my head. Didn't even require stitches yet it bled profusely.

I've been trying to think like Tammy. It's hard. I don't drink hardly ever and I never do drugs.

Random memories from the beginning. Some thought Tammy would keep a souvenir. Did Heather go back out that night with the same clothes on? Someone recognized the shirt Heather was wearing in the driving photo as being a Disney shirt. Did Sidney buy it for her? Did Tammy recognize the shirt and rip it off of Heather? Did Tammy keep the shirt?

Maybe it didn't bleed but knocked her out-can this even happen? I don't know but it's what I've felt all along. That HE was attacked from behind and hit on the head. What happened next is where I waiver.

Having seen her without make up and photoshopping, I'm still suffering from trauma to the eyes.

I'm not sure about strangulation, only because its such an usual method for a female to use (although I guess TM doesn't have that many feminine traits).

I was wondering if it was (hopefully) less brutal than we are all imagining - SM gave her (or TM forced on her) something to drink which was drugged? Rendered her unconscious, then didn't need much force to end her life. Maybe smothered?

I'm thinking tire iron or small pry bar. Effective, common, easy for even wussy people to fling far out into the river.

I also noticed two things about the Waccamaw river itself.

1) It meanders to within about a half mile (through the woods) from the Ms' house. Maybe a path through those woods?

2) Just a little ways downstream from PTL, it joins the Intracoastal Waterway, and there is a public boat landing just across the waterway from that junction.

Both points are within pretty easy reach of a small boat with a quiet motor and a person using a bright flashlight. Especially 2), if someone would be at the ICW landing with the truck to pick up you and the boat.

Would be nice if any of the locals have noticed searching along the river other than at PTL, or in the ICW.

Head wounds are one of those weird things. Someone can die from a head would that has only internal bleeding, and then there wouldn't be any blood evidence. There would usually be other evidence, though (as when people die the body often relieves itself), but maybe not anymore if no one checked for it back on Dec 19th. Thinking in terms of the possibility that one of the Moorer's was angry enough to hit Heather, then she fell and hit her head on something causing internal bleeding, Heather was still alive and the Moorer's moved her, there might not be much DNA type evidence at PTL at all.

Oh yeah, gotcha. Yeah, possibly could happen, especially if from there it was a drowning.

Not to be graphic but if TM or AM strangled her dead and then smashed her head or whatever it wouldn't bleed as much as someone who was alive when that happened. I can totally see that scenario. Overkill, indicates extreme anger.

All of our speculation about the How? Is with Tammy.
Does anyone think SM was the "trigger man" and if so what would the how? be?
My only thought about SM is if he is the killer I think they could have been arguing about something outside the car and it went too far and the killing was an accident.

This article from back in December has a good picture showing the PTL ramp from a close angle. Note the vegetation and mud, and remember the Waccamaw is a tidal river at this point.

That is a small truck pulling a good sized jon boat out of the water. A much smaller boat could be slid right up into the bed of a full size pickup truck like those that were towed from the Ms' house.

My bet is that Heather's body is weighted down in the Waccamaw somewhere between PTL and the ICW, or up in the swampy areas along the river's sides.

I switched my theory from strangulation to drowning. Why else would they have her meet them by the water? (Or was that where HE and SM usually met up?) A convenient way to wash away SM's sins. If they were intent on avoiding blood and evidence detection, I would think they left her body in the water (maybe weighted down/in a container).

I agree with others that I just cannot see either TM or SM going to any great extreme with the hiding of the body. Things like digging a huge hole or something of that nature just seems unlikely to me.

What seems more likely is just tossing her in that river. I would not be surprised if they just pushed her out into the river even without trying to weight it down. If they did that, its possible the body floated downstream a little ways. With water being cold, it could be submerged for awhile.

I know a lot of us think a body will float to the top but there are so many ways a body can be stuck on bottom. Like clothes snagging on a tree limb or rock at bottom.

And as far as sinking. Does everyone remember when you were little and in a pool and wanted to go to bottom. You blew out air and dropped like a rock.

Once deceased a body will build up gasses and usually float up, but if snagged on something, it may never come up.
