Yes, when I posted about "girl on girl" crime, I was thinking jealousy as a motive, it almost always is. Not indicating her date would have been aware at all. Or maybe even a girl/woman who thought she was dating someone else or thought she had flirted with "their" man. I just think Heather might have felt safer going out to meet a female at that hour, if she did go out.

I was thinking that maybe there was a girl who thought that she was dating HER....like as in a girl who thought she was heather's gf...Just speculation... in the interest of considering all things....it is plausible.... explains why she may have been willing to meet someone in a secluded location or possibly left with that person....also in that scenerio...beings the relationship would be a secret it would be hard for parents or law enforcement to pick up on something like that or get tips about plans that were made in secret...My opinion ONLY!

I would love to know the quality of the "tips" that are pouring in. I worked a crime tip line some years back and the so-called tips generally consisted of ideas, theories, dreams, visions, or just people asking questions. I hope at least some are actually connected to Heather, during the correct time frame and have some sort of validity. Sometimes national media is a catch 22, in that it just opens a wider net to catch all of the loonies and the want-to-be-involved folks out there.

Did you read the comments after the article?

Amber Berbiglia's body was found 2 miles from a church.

There was some talk about the perp being within walking distance of the recovery location.

I thought the Crystal Faye Todd case was solved by Conway PD working with SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division).

Nope, it was HCPD Detective Bill Knowles. I watched an episode of a show on ID, called Stolen Voices, Buried Secrets about the case and just went to double check it was the same one, so I made note of the Detective on it.

They may have helped but I believe it was Horry County. Gordon Harris was Chief of Police at the time for HCPD.

I need someone else's opinion on this:
PURELY SPECULATION AND MY OPINION ONLY....does anyone else pick up a hint of possible bisexual tendencies from some of the things HE has posted in some of her social media accounts?

Yes, but from what I see, that is nothing unusual these days. It' seems to almost be a trend, something 'cool'. Posting stuff like that is the norm these days, I don't think it means she is bi-sexual. Then again, she may be. I've also thought about a love triangle.

The timing is what has my interest...almost like the person knew her roommate and most of her friends would be out of town for Christmas break, which would provide the perfect opportunity to do something with no one around, no one to notice her missing right away.

Very disturbing, isn't it?

Yes. I wonder if LE is allowing CUE to conduct all these searches because they are really searching other locations and are happy not to have the media coverage.

Speaking of which, where the heck are all the investigative beat journalists in Myrtle Beach? There is usually 1 or 2 local reporters that will track this type of news. Come on already!

I have had so many thoughts on all of this and I want to make it clear how much I want Heather found and brought home to her family. What's more, my ramblings are merely moo and purely speculation. Throughout this case I've had a nagging feeling about something. It isn't palatable and for that I apologise and I'm sure LE have explored it, but could Heather have been doing some sort of high end escorting? Something that was sold to her as completely hands off and not particularly sexual in any way? Maybe she met someone at the landing to "accompany" them and maybe they went out on a boat and the unknown male made moves that were inappropriate and not on the menu as far as she was concerned and a goods and services type argument ensued? And escalated? She never returned to the car and he has a boat......

Ready for something freaky??

There aren't a whole lot of churches real near to where AB was found. That one that is there, is a Baptist church.

So is the one HE attended.

There's also a Baptist church on Ronald McNair Blvd.

There's also one on Peachtree.

And there's 2 more just off of Peachtree.

Now, this could be because ya throw a stone and ya hit one down here but... still kinda freaks me out. I mean, the one near AB... pretty remote. The one on Ronald McNair? also... fairly remote. Same for Peachtree. Those 3 you'd have to be a local, or LOOKING, to know they're there.

I HIGHLY DOUBT IT! The family is 150% cooperating with the HCPD I'm quite sure. They're completely devastated by the disappearance of their daughter. I have no question in my mind anyone suspects them of foul play concerning Heather, I certainly don't.

We are a victim friendly forum. This means the victim's family too.

False advice. .380 is a fine self defense weapon for a woman imo.

A shotgun? We're not all Elly May Clampett. LOL!
For you youngins, here's a link ~ The Beverly Hillbillies - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have both. I carry my .380 and I have a shotgun full of buckshot near my bed. IMO, a shotgun is the best for home defense. You can just shoot from the hip and hit your target.

Lol, I felt old the day my young neighbor lady asked who Natalie Wood was.

Odd. I thank you as I was just thinking to myself 'I wonder which churches being mentioned' !!!! You read my mind!

Silence from LE can mean they do not need help, or just the opposite. In Holly Bobo's case, there has not been a press conference of any note in a few years now. They won't even say which of her items were found and which remain missing. They seem to have no suspects or POI's, the reward is huge, and yet nothing happens. Not a word from LE. Her thread here has been closed, pending news, for many months now. There have been other cases where LE says little or nothing for months, and then asks for help, when memories have faded.

I am not convinced that LE even knows yet if a crime has been committed in Heather's case, with no crime scene, not even a real sense of where or when she was last known to be alive, other than that 3:41 entry and a possible video. If they saw anything in the video, it does not seem to have been anything to determine she was a crime victim.

Most people seem to assume she has been abducted but LE can't make assumptions, and IMO they seem to have very little evidence. If they had a POI, for example, but not enough to charge, they would likely be asking the community to help fill in missing details, IMO. At least I hope the would, rather than just hope evidence drops in their laps.

I have been dogged by the impression that her family has found out or knew some unsavoury details that went against their religion or morals and have tried to operate a case where this type of information stays hidden. I have always felt like there is more to this beyond even the clues or leads LE are keeping out of the public eye. I wonder if the LE are trying to be sensitive to the family by not disclosing this info when they normally would do so?
well as in the mickey shunick case, LE kept a lot of info from the public because they had already had a person of interest and the entire case just about solved so maybe it is a good sign....and as for the other stuff, she is an adult and she seemed to have a bit of a rebellious or wild side but I doubt her parents didnt know that she's probably had somewhat a streak of wildness in her...in my opinion there are some things she kept private from her parents. Not necessarily out of the ordinary for a twenty year old.
