What's that? A possible false alibi? I agree, if so.
iMO, yes.

Just because they haven't released it doesn't mean they don't know.

That's a very real consideration that others could now be in danger if LE is closing in. Heather may never reappear and it will affect more than just her own family if someone is charged and convicted of harming her.I am actually worried for the safety of others at this point.
I am also happy to see that LE seems to be on top of things and I do hope they can get any responsible person to admit what happened and tell where she is.
Prayers for her family.
"damn"
You take 8hr off and it's like missing a season of your favorite show.
I'm completely caught up, except one thing. Where does the idea of HE being in Florida come from?
The reason I ask is a lady on the thread from Monday at 8:51pm on the FHEFB has come out today at 11:50 and said (paraphrasing) "I called in a tip to LE about a young couple, male & female that were stranded that we helped jump start....girl favored HE some".
Just trying to link the pieces
I would bet they can at least determine if the moonchild necklace is missing. She seems to have worn that a lot.Has no one been able to determine what she may have been wearing? Even partially? It seems certain items should be missing, at least a jacket, shoes, etc.
Very unusual, not to have something, after nearly a month. JMO
I'm convinced it was on purpose, but on purpose by whom, I don't know. Releasing the report non-redacted does give information that may start people thinking. (Websleuths posters have pieced together a lot without really being able to do so in posts). This means that if any local were to read the non-redacted information, they might say "Hey, I remember Entity whomever saying/doing whatever." or "I remember seeing HE/that car at *redacted place*" or "That's why those crazy people were driving around in jerky circles in *redacted place*. And wait, that happened at X time, maybe that is important." or even "Hmm, I saw EntityX walking along blah-blah street at o dark thirty on December 18th. That was a ways away, but I know it was that guy/gal."I am not yet convinced the leak was on purpose, via LE. If so, why have it vanish so suddenly? They could have just removed contact info, even used initials, if they wanted info out there.
Ar least now, there is a light at the end of tunnel, so to speak, as far as perhaps having Heather's case be solved. More than has happened in many other cases, IMO, that have dragged on into years. Hopeful, at least.
Attention: the police report can be discussed but that does not include sleuthing any of the names on that document or taking the conversation further than the basics (no identifying information!) in that report. Furthermore any inkling of discussion about redacted information or sleuthing persons that have not been named a suspect or person of interest in this case will result in an immediate time out.

Thanks.
We do not have a person of interest or suspect named in this case by law enforcement. Sleuthing anyone and posting on Websleuths is not allowed unless or until someone is named by law enforcement, this includes public sites showing addresses etc. This also includes family.
We are a victim friendly site and this includes family and friends. No bashing of anyone. No sleuthing or discussing anyone in a suspect manner unless we have a suspect named.
Rumor is not allowed, you can discuss and speculate about anything we already know thru law enforcement and main stream media.
Rules Etiquette & Information
Social Networks
Regarding Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and other social networking or blog websites: Links may be used to direct posters to view something on a social networking page. But postings on social networking sites are not considered fact; they are rumor. Copying and pasting, or taking screen caps, directly from these pages is not allowed. Paraphrasing is okay. (Exception: If the Twitter or Facebook post belongs to a verified news station, it may be copied. But a link should still be provided.)
Also, social networking pages may only be linked if they are directly related to a case, i.e. the victim or suspect. We don't want to post to someone's mother, brother, employer, milkman, or postal carrier just because they know the main player. We also NEVER link to minor's pages (unless they are the victim). And be sure that the page actually belongs to the person being discussed. Do not link to someone if you are not 100% sure it is the correct person. And if a social networking is set to private and you get in the back way, you may not post what you find. Private means private!
Sex Offenders
It is illegal to use the sex offender registry information to harass anyone. We would never condone that at Websleuths. However, it is okay if, when a child goes missing or is harmed, we look at the sex offenders in the area and post their information, along with maps to show how close they live to the victim. Never even hint at harassing anyone on the sex offenders list. Any posting here about a sex offender should always be within the law.

I think the public who are now digesting the info from that report are reevaluating what has become of HE. The players are exposed for all to see and they now will be dealing with the scrutiny of an angry public.Hmm wondering who's gonna go first and share their thoughts. Yesterday left us with so much to think about. I'm hoping today brings more news and Heather home!
