Oh no, very scary both are missing. Were they going to the store to get something for the baby? And why did they both go?
Perhaps to meet a coworker (don’t know where either one works etc) or borrow something from a family member?
Any other family live near them?
I can’t imagine going off and leaving the baby unless it was very important.
Prayers for the family.

So water ? has the van been spotted ? Since we are talking SC , My first guess would be water , 2nd guess if not water look for a burned out car , it seems to be a thing there , I hope they are both Ok, but in case they ran off the road and are trapped in a ditch or culvert I hope they are following their pings/route quickly !!!

Bamberg County couple missing for a week, family looking for answers

[...]

"I fear the worst because today makes a week since they were gone," Davenna Carter told NewsChannel 6's Shawn Cabbagestalk. "Their phones have been going to voicemail since Thursday morning. So, I feel something bad has happened," she added.

Devenna is Jamell's aunt. Right now, she's holding tight to memories of the two. "Janis, I call her bonita, she's Puerto Rican and we always laugh because we live in the same house so we're very close and my nephew he's just a funny person period," she recalls.

She says that she doesn't know what could have happened to Janie and Jamell but her nephew received a phone call right before they left.

"He said I know where that's at and they went to meet someone and that's all I know, they never came back," she added.

[...]

"They left everything behind," Devenna said. "They took the keys to the car and themselves. She left her pocketbook and all of her stuff and he left his ID his driver's license, his medication, and everything," she recalled.

Jamell has a large family, with six kids ranging from 17 to less than one year.

"I don't want to think wrong because I feel like ain't nothing happened but I don't know I'm just holding on to hope," his son, also named Jamell, said

"Nobody no nothing because my father wasn't the type to tell anybody his business he would up and dip," he added.

They left the house at around 11-11:30 on Wednesday night after a phone call according to the story that Jamell mom

Las time she try to reach us was Friday around 3pm she called one of our nieces using Facebook messenger my niece wasn’t able to answer the call because she was at work,

The authorities tracked the last location from Jamell cell phone Rivers Bridge State Park.

So it sounds like the nephew received a phone call from them on Wednesday night right before they left to meet someone at Rivers Bridge State Park.

Friday at 3pm the niece received but didn’t answer a FB messenger call from them.

It was two days from the nephews phone call and the FB messenger to the niece so they probably didn’t get in a wreak unless (one of them after two days into a wreak became conscious enough to make a FB messenger call) then it sounds like they are kidnapped.

Why would they be meeting someone at night in a park?
The only reason I can think of to leave that fast in PJ’s would be to meet a drug dealer. Maybe to buy ecstasy or someone (as in a addict) needed a drug.

How old is the nephew?

RSBM.

I can't think of any good/healthy reason to be meeting someone at a park that late at night, that's for sure.

This does not sound good.

Another reason may be they thought someone was needing a ride for some reason (car broke down?/ dropped off?). IDK. Hopefully LE can check cell phone records to see who contacted them (and hope they didn't use a burner phone).
