Not at all obvious. Look for evidence that actually points towards Roof's guilt.

Roof is appearing at his trial wearing his blue and white striped jail uniform. What kind of 'defense' lawyer would allow this? One gets the feeling that the fix is in.

Am I misunderstanding you? It's not obvious to you that Roof is guilty of the premeditated murder of those churchgoers he shot as they closed their eyes to pray?

That sure is one great big difference difference between the 2 cases. . Along with many extremely significant others, including the fact all 9 bodies of the slaughtered were recovered within hours, as opposed to the obscene length of time it took for LE to recover Caylee's remains.

Witness testifying before court is Keon Gordon. He knew Tywanza Sanders since high school.

Gordon says Emanuel AME shooting seemed "surreal that someone would do something like that."

Shelby, N.C., officer Daniel Bernat has taken to the stand. Says he heard of the Charleston shooting on the news

Bernat describes car he pulled over suspecting it was the car in which the shooter of Emanuel AME. He said the SC tags caught his attention.

Bernat says he pulled over the car and did not know at the time who the driver was

Bernat says he told the driver to keep his hands on the steering wheel and turn off his car off with his right hand.

Bernat said once the driver had stepped out he asked: "Sir, what is your name?" And the man responded: "#DylannRoof."

Bernat says that even when the man identified himself as #DylannRoof, Bernat wasn't sure he was involved. A Sgt. said Roof was.

Attorney: Dylann Roof's mom had heart attack during trial

"CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Dylann Roof's mother suffered a heart attack not long after prosecutors described how her son planned a cold and calculated killing of nine black church members in a racially motivated attack, the white man's attorney said in court documents Thursday.

Roof's mother collapsed and said "I'm sorry" several times on Wednesday as family members and court security came to help her during the opening of her son's federal death penalty trial.

Roof's attorney mentioned the heart attack in court documents asking for a mistrial, saying a survivor's testimony was so emotional that "spectators and even court personnel — including members of the prosecution and defense — were crying with her."

The documents didn't give the mother's current condition..."

Judge rules Dylann Roof's trial can continue despite survivor saying he belonged 'in the pit of hell'

"Dylann Roof’s trial for the murder of nine black people in a Charleston church continued on Thursday, despite his defence team attempting to halt proceedings after a survivor declared that he belonged “in the pit of hell.”

David Bruck, Roof’s lawyer, tried to get the case declared a mistrial on the grounds that one of the witnesses’ words could be interpreted as recommending a sentence.

The jury, not the witnesses, must decide the sentence - but Felicia Sanders, whose son Tywanza was murdered by Roof, said he belonged “in the pit of hell.”..."

Jurors in the federal trial of a man accused of killing nine people in a black South Carolina church in 2015 saw surveillance footage Thursday that allegedly showed Dylann Roof entering the church and leaving again after the mass shooting.

A security camera outside Emanuel AME Church in Charleston captured the scene the evening of June 17, 2016, as each of the 11 other Bible study participants arrived. According to the Post and Courier, some could be seen talking on their phones, and others chatted with one another as they walked into the historic church known in the city as “Mother Emanuel.”

Also seen on the video was Roof, the man accused of firing upon the congregants as they closed their eyes in a final prayer that night. Two adults and a child in the room during the shooting survived. The remainder of the session participants died, including the church’s pastor...."

What's your point that the car was stolen?

Hard evidence? Isn't the evidence that in Roof's cold-blooded murder of nine people- that there was numerous people- 5 survivors- who were at the church at the time to attest to that he murdered them, enough evidence? What about the cameras- Images of Roof were available on surveillance videos.

Premeditated? He has reportedly given a reason for his premeditated massacre — he wanted to start a race war- he is an avowed white supremacist, by his own racist ramblings in his manifesto. Have you read his manifesto?

His stomach-churning manifesto leaves no doubt as to his white-supremacist motives, IMO. There is a word for premeditated violence against civilians with people who intend to stoke fear, anger, and social strife in service of their extremist ideology. That word is domestic terrorism, IMO (even tho' the FBI is not calling it that, I am). He did this abomination of an act to stoke terror and advance his political agenda. It is also a hate-crime and definately racialy motivated, IMO. He allowed one woman to live so she could tell the world what happened. He pronounced to the members of the bible study group that he was there "to shoot black people". By Roof’s own admission, his mission was to kill black people and spark a new Civil War — a goal that was certainly aimed at intimidating or coercing both the government and the civilian population, IMO. In his manifesto, Roof wrote a chilling explanation of his reason for the attack on a historic African-American church that left nine dead:

“I have no choice. I am not in the position to, alone, go into the ghetto and fight. I chose Charleston because it is most historic city in my state, and at one time had the highest ratio of blacks to Whites in the country. We have no skinheads, no real KKK, no one doing anything but talking on the internet. Well someone has to have the bravery to take it to the real world, and I guess that has to be me.”

Never mind that he confessed to this horrific crime and is now facing federal charges for hate crimes- a violation of civil rights- a bias that results in hate and intolerance, IMO.
