The mother of victim Tywanza Sanders gave a touching, heartfelt account of her son's death:

Sanders watched her son die.
"And we watched him take his last breath. I watched my son come in this world. And I watched him leave this world," she said.

Sgt. John Lites told jurors he leaned down and held Tywanza Sanders' hand as the young poet-barber passed away. He squeezes, smiled, and was gone, Lites said.
