Wow. I have a lot of sympathy for jurors that find themselves in a media maelstrom through no fault of their own. But this juror came forward willingly. Whoever from the defense is orchestrating this should have prepped her better.

Honestly, that might be the biggest trainwreck of an interview since Miss Teen South Carolina was asked about maps.

Oh, man -- what rubbish by the defense.

IIRC, what this comes down to is Team AM thought they paved the way for AM's future after getting a State Judge to suggest a possible sentence for the federal financial crimes during the State's (financial) plea agreement, and the Federal Court essentially told AM's defense to stay in their own lane! The Federal Court didn't need any help from AM's cronies to advise him how to do his job! MOO and SMH...

Huh? So Egg Lady is writing a book, and Juror Z is speaking out to assumingly be wing lady to Egg Lady?

This is the same Juror who told the Judge Toal that she felt influenced by BH. Seems to me this party was also easily influenced by the EL!

Sheesh, how did she ever clear voir dire? JMO
Can you say 'money grab'? I'm sorry but she appears disingenuous to me. If her friend aka egg lady wasn't writing a book, would we even be hearing this from her now?

The Judge polled each juror as to whether the verdict was true and correct and she said yes. I don't think this is going to have as much negative impact as people think. At least I hope.

Patricia Arquette is good in anything she does but Maggie is only a small part of the story and not much is known about her. I wonder who’ll play Alex? I think it’ll take a strong actor to go opposite PA.

AM argued his 8th Amendment Right fell outside of the appeal waiver he signed -- but he could not demonstrate why or how. I guess it wouldn't be good form to cite you gambled because you thought you could manipulate at least one State Court appellate decision in your favor, and with round round not looking very promising, neither is the 40 years you agreed to in the federal plea agreement! Behind pay wall for me :(

Quoted MSM link dtd Oct 9, 2024 reports the same about the federal appeal rejected per waiver signed by AM, and addresses the State murder conviction and appeal timeline :

The appeals of the murder conviction and state prison sentencing of Alex Murdaugh now lie in the jurisdiction of the S.C. Supreme Court, but nothing will be heard on this matter until after mid-December.

Attorneys for Murdaugh have technically filed two appeals. First, Murdaugh filed an initial appeal of his double murder convictions and twin life sentences in March 2023, just days after the guilty verdict was delivered.

[..]

The Supreme Court agreed to hear Murdaugh's cases in August, and on Sept. 13 issued an order consolidating those appeals into one case.

With that same order, the Supreme Court also granted Murdaugh's attorneys an extension of Dec. 10 to file their initial brief making their case. No date has been announced yet when the court will hear this case.

And egg lady wants to clear her name -- wrote a book: In August, Crosby and a co-author released "Because Enough is Enough," a book about her experiences on the Murdaugh jury.

And Eric Bland wrote a book too...
