Are there any storage totes missing from the home?

I still am not sure if Watts storage is related to this family ??

Not really. If the kids were already dead when Shannen came home which would be extremely easy to do with very little or no evidence, it is just a matter of dealing with her. Also not extraordinarily difficult considering she was returning from traveling and must have been dead tired.

He said they had an emotional conversation which to me, means a fight.

Yep. Scott was loading umbrellas into his truck which was backed up to the house. This guy was loading tools with his truck backed up to the house. Laci was pregnant, Shannon was pregnant. Scott acted calm, didn't want to stay in the house, this guy acts calm and doesn't want to stay in the house.

Ok, I'll be the devil's advocate, but don't hurt me.... What if they are going through financial problems, it has been brought up numerous times in the past that Thrive usage has probably dwindled since it's very low BBB rating came out and since people starting discussing their negative experiences. So we have potentially a huge drop in income, a new baby, a feud with the HOA (i have to assume this will cost them something)... What if this is a planned disappearance to generate some income. She has a million contacts go on FB and see all the people posting, she has a network and excluding MT I haven't seen a go up that fast that quick. Possibly using Laci's case as a blue print. They are obviously good at making internet content, it wouldn't be hard for two tech savy sales people to pull this off. I can't go to the husband did it, he just doesn't give off the murder vibe (GUT FEELING ONLY), but he does give off a seriously conniving vibe. MOO IMHO all all that good stuff.

Chris's job had him outside the home most of the week....Shanann did travel to conventions for her job but I understand from Shanann that the trips were planned around the kids and at a time when Chris would be home to watch after their children. My last conversations with Shanann while she was in NC had absolutely no indication that there was trouble in paradise for them. There was, however, ongoing contention with her in laws, specifically with his mother and his sister, and their continued nonacceptance of Shanann and her and Chris's decision to move to CO. One of the children had a birthday party while they were in NC...Chris's mother and sister were both invited and neither showed up to celebrate the day... to me that is suspect in itself. More over, when Shanann visited with her girls (prior to the birthday party and without Chris during her stay in NC) at her mother-n-laws home, with her inlaws being beyond aware that the girls had celeriac / critical food-nut allergies her mother n law and sister n law did what the could to offer foods to the girls that would be detrimental to them, including leaving nuts out in reach of the girls to attain for themselves, doing what they could to undermine Shanann at every opportunity. Shanann told me that with that she would not take her girls back to her mother n laws home without Chris present for her children's safety. I can not blame her for that at all, I would do the same if I had been in her shoes. Mind you I was told this in confidence, however, with her and the girls missing I believe a clearly painted picture is appropriate. Nothing about Chris in everything she told me in our long weekly conversations while she was here in NC and my meeting him before they left screamed danger to me. It is my opinion that his wife and girls are his entire world. My prayers to him and their families that Shanann, Cece and Bella return home safe and sound and in short order. Let no stone go un-turned in the search for these precious souls.

Court records in Colorado shows they filed for Bankruptcy Chapter 7 in 2015, however it was "discharged" three months later. Wondering if discharged means withdrawn?

I believe that means it went before the bankruptcy judge. I could be wrong but we have attorney's on this forum that can bring insight into this.

I wish the dog could talk....oh the tales that little sweetheart could tell. Who is caring for the dog, is he acting wierd? I am serious, I rescue and rehab abused dogs, one of my dogs sadly is/was very loved but his human daddy killed his human mommy, then killed himself. I have had him for going on four years, to this day he has a look....an old soul look. But in the beginning he was a basket case....it did not take a genious to know he had seen things no one or thing should see. How is the dog acting? Just my two cents as usual. IMHO

I think you need to report this to the Colorado police. What the MIL did if on purpose is pretty crazy. Mental illness does run in families. In the very least I do think the police need to be aware that there was ill will in the family against Shannen. Very important for them to know this with her going missing so soon after returning from NC. She must have had a very "emotional" conversation to him about his mother and sister and their treatment of their children. It also goes towards motive...

As far as her not relating anything to you about her husband, I wouldn't read that to mean there were not serious issues. Her talking about her MIL and SIL could be her way of deflecting issues she may not wished for you to know about her own husband.

I just did a search of the Weld County assessor site for the address of the storage units. This couple is not listed as the owners, another couple with a different, but similar, last name appear to be the owners.

Okay I feel like I’m going crazy because when I was reading on here (I think) before I fell asleep last night, I thought I had read that Monday was supposed to be the first day of school for the girls and the school was concerned when they didn’t show. I read that it was their first days and her friends expected Shanann to post pictures of their outfits because she was so excited and very active on SM

Strangulation, smothering, drowning — lots of ways to disappear someone w/no blood. Especially little children. Knowing and proving are two different things, and IMO LE in this peaceful town is working 24 x 7 to find any evidence they can to support what their guts tell them has happened.
