WINDSOR If you LIVED here you'd know, John shtye for brains Ray is the LAST person
that the county of Suffolk would give ANYTHING to, let alone this 9-1-1 call
John has sued the MOST POWERFUL political powers that be in Suffolk County and tried to get them
OUTED, and he has also sued the SCPD numerous times. He has NO friends in Suffolk County.
So - where does that leave him?
and the reality is, John really doesn't give a shyte about solving this case,
he's only using this case to get on tv to get clients in the door.

Sounds like John Ray is the only person actually doing something in this case.
Orville, I agree, and until someone else steps forward to do something positive and be effective in this case, we have to acknowledge and recognise the efforts John Ray is attempting.
That some people believe he is vain, loves the media and is not a rocket scientist does not detract from what he has done.
Let us face it, if it were not for John Ray this case would have no publicity, no awareness or no public interest at this time.

It seems the latest hearing in the wrongful death lawsuit against Peter Hackett, regarding the motion to release Shannan Gilbert’s 911 call was adjourned on June 5, 2018. It has been rescheduled for June 19, 2018.
WOW! This is unbelievable! Another adjournment for another two weeks, after so many years of waiting, and many previous adjournments. I would like to know who asked for the adjournment and why? As well, why was it granted by the Judge? If it was the lawyer for the SCPD who asked for the adjournment, does the judge not see a pattern of "stalling" on the part of the SCPD?
I know some judges in the USA are elected, was Judge SANFORD N. BERLAND appointed or elected?

Suffolk County Supreme Court Judges are elected by the judicial district for a period of 14 years. When a hearing is adjourned they don’t provide any public information as to why it was adjourned. I believe the judge in this case had already ordered that the 911 call be released on March 19, 2018. I’m not sure how the judge in this case can enforce an order on another government department. It is my belief that the SCPD may be stalling because they could possibly be sued for mishandling the situation. I’m glad that Mr. John Ray is using the Supreme Court System to try to advance the case. I have researched everything I could possibly find that has been made available to the public regarding this case. Shannan Gilbert’s 911 call may provide a lot clues as to what actually happened that night. The focus should be to bring the killer to justice and not how to cover up past mistakes.

A lot of people on this forum are very quick to bag on John ray. Who else is stepping in front of the camera to keep this case relevant. Um nobody. I guarantee he pulled in tons of new clients since becoming the outspoken person for not just Shannon but all the girls dumped this small L.I. neighborhood that just reaks of white privilege and depravity. So what. John Ray cares about this case enough to make powerful enemies in the political structure of many people linked to the parties in this neighborhood.

I am curious about the conspiracy side of this story. While the main cast of characters seem to be in a battle of wills and have their own vested interests in mind, is it really so simple as it's just some evil "wolf in sheep's clothing" who "*advertiser censored* where he eats"?
Regarding the GB4:
If in fact, one person single-handedly does the killing and dumping, to me, this person would be the total opposite. He doesn't *advertiser censored* where he eats... Meaning, if he lives in Suffolk at all, he's probably farther from the dump site than just across the street on Oak Beach. For those who believe there is collusion amongst certain local residents I also feel the demographic--while potentially arrogant and entitled--just wouldn't take such a risk to dump so close to home. Obsession informs possession and retention of the body. Repulsion alone would preclude the production of a boneyard in one's backyard. People who kill prostitutes don't do it for trophies--I will maintain this regardless of the case. They do it because they CAN and because the women are simply used for temporary gratification. This lack of "tether" I find most terrifying.
