He thought he was. Why else would TL think there was a divorce in the works unless her good friend SC told her. SC might have even given her blessings to her relationship with CC, all via CC himself.

What is your take on things in this case?

My husband thinks I am nuts because I have read and listened to everything posted about this case. (Just as I did with the Scott and Laci Peterson case) I personally think CC is a for cheating on his wife and even more of a for doing it with her friend! Whether they were old friends or friends that just kept in touch via a social networking site! I didn’t catch on to this story right away, (I am in the Kansas City area, only 4 hours away from where this happened) I think it was about 5 days after the story broke I caught on. I knew right away that he was guilty by his body language, actions and especially facial expressions. Especially when he was sitting in the back of that police car. His actions were almost Scott Peterson all over again! Especially with him changing his appearance.

This TL should have come out right away like Amber Frey and at least made a statement. We have heard nothing from her! So we do not know what to think, we can only assume. I already know she is a as well because she knew Sheri, and she knew that Sheri was married to Chris and had 2 children. I hope she feels terrible and some sort of guilt for what has happened.

So... Looks like there was an event:

And... we have been wondering about the June 14th date ("She admitted that Christopher planned to divorce Sheri by June 14th." and "He also sent emails to Lintz about plans to marry her in January, 2010, and their upcoming trip this summer."

The only event I see above for June is June 25, in PA. So it appears no trip after 30 May until June 25th? I see that Gavin and Garett were to get out of school on May 29.

Do we have any idea when Sheri had a mission trip planned for this year? I know that we have seen info that the children went with her to Mexico at one point, was it planned that the children would go on any of the trips this year? Anyone have any info here?

Yes, even in a murder case. However, I do believe it is not illegal for a pastor to disclose information. It is illegal for the law to force him/her to disclose information.

Thank Goodness they passed the law for "hearsay from the grave" as in the cases of Drew P.'s wives. It could be helpful in this case.

Wasn't the pastor the one to leave that blog on the Destiny site tho? He wrote it the day of the murders and it supported Chris. I would think if he had been told things about trouble in the marriage by Sheri his blog would have been less inclined to back her husband right after the murders.

You ask a good question... Why hasn't the attorney been in? Do they have their strategy already? Anyone have a clue why the attorney hasn't been noted to visit?

Interesting...parents visit, brother and SIL visit, his old pal from Chester visits -- wonder why his lawyer hasn't yet visited!! After all, this IS a triple murder case here!! Wouldn't you think he'd be readying for the preliminary hearing coming up and need to pop in at some point to speak to his client -- like SOON?!? :waitasec:

Very good point! I think it is odd that he left that blog. Bugs me a great deal! I can't see my pastor doing that, especially if he knew something was wrong. Perhaps Sheri kept it from them because she was afraid someone would let JM know and CC would be fired? Or she was afraid if they knew things weren't wonderful at home they would have kept her from going to the mission field? In other words, she feared telling them for some reason?:waitasec:

According to the JMM website, the last AZ conference was March 5-7. We can only see back as far at Jan 10, 2009 and there has not been a Hawaii conference.

I read earlier where JM and Dave spent a month in Hawaii last year. I thought it was on her site, but it was before we heard of the trip of CC and MM so I didn't pay much attention to it. I will see if I can track it down again.

Did he hire an attorney or is it a public deffender? I'm sorry I remember something about his family asking for donations but I can't remember if he actually hired someone.
