Hopefully we'll find out what jodi was so ticked off about that one day after coming out of chambers.

Thank you, Quester! I really appreciate that this person said "I'm sorry" to the Alexanders. That probably helped them, at least a little, in that very painful hour.

I am very surprised to hear there was no fighting. That seems weird, based on my own, admittedly limited, jury experience. It got pretty heated in the few hours we were there, mostly because of my refusal to give in to pressure to convict based on somewhat flimsy evidence. But when we came out, the judge said that our verdict carried more weight, and was more valuable and believeable (I'm trying to remember exactly what he said, and am failing), because we took an estimable time to come to it.

Nice to hear Diane KNEW Jodi was lying when she said in the infamous post-verdict interview that she wanted the death penalty! :floorlaugh::facepalm:

I watch them all too gauntlet. And I think why I find this kind of crime so intriguing, is that I can't understand how these criminals think. I always ask myself 1) why did they think killing was a better alternative than divorce and 2) why they think they'll get away with it.

For 1) I guess it is easier for them to kill, since they have no feelings for their spouses (or have huge anger towards them), and this way they may get insurance, but at least won't have child support and alimony to worry about. And 2) I think they don't value the spouse, and assume others don't either, and will eventually give up and move along in their lives.

I guess a combo of supreme narcissism and sociopathy. Certainly applies to Scott Peterson, Jason Young, Dale Smith Jr, Raven Abaroa, Brad Cooper. The list goes on and on.

It is amazing how many women's murder by spouse is related to pregnancy as well. And overly indulgent parents. Jason's family was just plain freaky and never should have testified.

Whatever the reasons, it keeps me hooked and looking for answers.
 
On CNN they just interviewed a guy who is trying to get legislation against ANY convicted criminal stuff being sold. He said Jodi is positioned to become the 'Queen Bee' of this genre.

As I've said all along, 'Son of Sam' is really useless since it only refers directly to the criminal who can continue to produce stuff. Give it as gifts to people who can sell it for a huge profit, in turn benefiting the criminal.

Not a whole lot can be done to prohibit free commerce.

Sad but true.

Sorry to hear about the weather and all. It was the announcement from yesterday about retrying the penalty phase.
