This jury got it SO right and I am thrilled. Justice does prevail in "most" cases. I feel so bad for victims of these narcissist/psychopathic/sociopaths (that probably isn't even a proper diagnosis). He is scum and thought he was smarter than the rest of the world (just like CMJA).

I'm hoping that all of this "justice" will deter others who think they are smarter than everyone else. Because, the fact is .... YOU'RE NOT!!!!

But ya can't tell sick people that ... they just won't get it. I don't care about them ... but I worry about all the potential victims out there

Zervakos and the other three may have gotten it right as well, if the torture murderess had been a torture murderer.

All you e-cig kids and those trying to quit analogs, (don't know where that sub thread is  ) but High Desert Vapes is having a 50% off on Joyetech eVic until the 16th, just put "EVIC" in the promo code. :seeya: Hi Bernina! Here's the link to the "Quitters" thread: Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

I happy to announce that in one hour (@ 2:45 pm Pacific Daylight Time) I will be 3 days without a cigarette. My iPhone app "My Last Cigarette" (free) says I no longer have carbon monoxide or nicotine in my system. And I have saved $16.19. I smoked a pack a day of Marlboro Light 100s.

I have been nibbling on pepperoni sticks, beef jerky, celery, Twizzler Bites, Apples, and peaches. (Yea! Peaches are in season.)

I have a very slight withdrawal headache this time. Nothing like the past. I'm not longing for a cigarette, but I've been staying away from my computer for a few days. Someone had posted a few days ago that she smoked more while at the computer. I thought about that and recognized that it was the same for me. I'm trying to develop new habits and break the old ones that seemed to require a cigarette.

I am a "Quitter" and I'm gonna make it this time!:drumroll:

Yes, the dog! :seeya:

Sorry it took so long to respond but I got cut off. I called first thing Monday morning. They said they would send someone out. I called back about 3 and they said no one was home so they couldn't do anything. So I called again today, telling them how traumatized I am I can't even imagine how the dog felt. I told her whatever it takes me testifying , this 220 to 240 5'10 to 6 ft hitting a 3 to 6 lb. dog with a pvc pipe is not going to get away with this. So she took a second report and said it's helps that there was two witnesses. So I will go by and check on the animals again about 5:30. I am on it and will do whatever I can to make sure he pays for what he did. Once again I appreciate all the support I am getting from the WS community.

:floorlaugh::facepalm: You should stick with us here, WE recognize you, gorgeous one! (I have never been in a chat room - no one would recognize me, either  )

Yes it's nice to be recognized- practically had to give a DNA sample in there! Lol

Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay for quitters!!!

I just listened to Shanna Hogan's radio interview from this weekend. She is the Arizona reporter who has been working on the book "Picture Perfect" about the case to be released this fall.

I was hoping that she was able to research more of CMJA's background and history. Listening to her, it seems that Travis's friends and family provided her with a lot of information, but she did not talk about interviewing any friends, family or acquaintances of the murderer. There is so much that we don't know that was not presented in court and part of me believes that her aberrant behavior and personality was seen by others well before she met Travis.

HLN has had snippets from some people, but nothing in depth yet.

Is anyone else surprised that we haven't heard more about her?

I'd watch if it was a movie about Travis's life but surely it's going to be all Jodi, all day long. No thanks.

I don't hold out high hopes for it. The actress said she's not going into it thinking that CMJA is a bad person. She's trying to be "objective." Does that mean you look at the savagery that Jodi Ann visited upon Travis, and still think, "Hey, maybe it was self-defense"?

Is anyone watching HLN? Seacat just walked out of court in chains. It looked like he was surrounded by his attorneys. He gets to walk to the jail. I guess he doesn't have a whole lot of friends willing to help him escape. His wife was so beautiful. Those poor children having to live with the fact their mother is dead and their father did it.

Women need to rise up and slap all these man bullies.
5 millenia and more of this Carp is quite enough...

No, it was some news show right afterwards...I may be misremembering exactly who was with his mom...but there were a couple of people sitting beside her, I remember something about a sibling.

Mom was either too afraid to let him in the house or she did let him in but was really afraid afterwards..

Sorry HMSHood...I probably should have said "I vaguely remember" or something...

I just vividly remember how extremely afraid she was of him...

I did a Google search and there is no known interview of Cho's parents recently. Howevere, I did see an interview of parents of their mentally ill son who threats of going on a killing spree and they turned him in. They were really afraid of him as he can be violent.

Good for you. I have lung disease and never smoked or allowed smokers around me. It's no fun. Enjoy your healthy lungs. I would love to trade with you for a day so you can see how bad lungs feel. You can do this. Don't worry if you gain a few pounds, you will lose that soon. Just focus on being a picture of health.

That actress is a nutcase. What is there to be objective about? CMJA may not be a bad person although she brutally slaugthered a man and left him to rot. In my book, that type of person is a bad person. I am adding her to my list of actors that I refuse to watch.

JA is a bad bad girl -

That worked, thanks!!

"Okay, this is the exclusive." ???? Is this guy serious?? WTF?

BBM

Yeah, he says that he's never been "on air" with his 'big reveal' before this interview.

You only thought that trial was about Alexander and Arias.

Zervakos is hijacking the media spotlight.

Striking while the iron's hot...

Signing on for a quick prayer request.

My mom stopped to check on my sister and she's taking her to the ER. Hopefully she's just dehydrated but, she's my sister, and I worry.

I'm off to pick up my nephew (her son) from daycare and I'll keep him overnight. I'll sign on with an update as soon as I can.

TIA
