Close, and since we're in the south you always add a Lee, Lea or Leigh. We weren't thinking of Puff the Magic Dragon when I named her. We picked and sounded out names. No Kimberley's, Jennifer's, Amy's,Michele's or Melissa's, we wanted one that was unusual, but old fashion.
She was born with brown curls and dark brown eyes, and an attitude of her own. She favors her Italian daddy, and I was so glad that she didn't have my red hair and green eyes.

She was my Better Homes and Garden baby, if it said babies rolled over at four months she rolled over. I caught my husband letting her suck on a piece of steak when she was a week old, and she'd wake up when he came home at midnight from work. She still loves to sleep, and was a very good baby.

She was my baby doll and I dressed her up in hats and booties that my sister knitted. She came to give her her first bath, then Baby Magic from head to toes. She still has her Holly Hobbie blanket I made before she was born, and her Fozzie Bear.

Linda, how are you and your family doing? Is it getting cold up there yet? I bet the fall colors are beautiful. I just finished reading about Robert and Maria Marshall from Tom's River. He had he killed for insurance and another woman. I'm now reading In a Child's Name about Ken Taylor. Some people just need killing and he is one of them.

feel like im about to burst with excitement to see the walking dead today :panic:

BBM1~ Do you rent/lease/own your apartment? Mold is extremely dangerous, who is responsible to fix that? I just replaced my furnace and hot water tank and it was $4500. :(

BBM2~ Sorry, what skin condition do you have?

Inquiring minds want to know!

The landlord, it is a family owned company and property.

I change the air filter. I tried the better ones, but that blew out the furnace portion last Christmas Eve. Brown dust went everywhere. I did have some sharp words with them since there was a no show the day the man was supposed to come then too, and I had to bug a friend for a portable heater (friend was not in good mood), so that may be why the are being a-holes now. I must fess up to some of the cause, but I only told them of all the other problems here since I was upset. Those problems are not huge and, of course, never were taken care of, just the furnace. I have to use the cheapo green fiber filters and I do have a room air purifier running in there, but it is not helping with the mold.

I still have not heard from the man that didn't fix it in the first place, but was supposed to call Friday. Not a peep. :sigh:

I'm sorry to hear that josie.

Can you walk around? If not, my neighbor broke her ankle once in a weird at home accident. We went to Goodwill, Salvation Army, and various other thrift stores until we found a wheelchair at an affordable price for her. We could even wheel her outside and around the block until her ankle healed. At least she still felt like she was participating with everyone. Maybe someone could look for you?

In a statement on Sunday ahead of their most detailed TV appeal for information on the case, British police said they planned to release a series of e-fit images of individuals they want to question.

"The purpose of the appeal is to try and identify these men, to eliminate any innocent sightings or to establish if they are connected in any way," British police said.

Police said they wanted to identify one man in particular who had been seen by two witnesses in the resort area around the time of McCann's disappearance.

I wish I could get my hopes up about Madeleine. I can't. It seems the trustworthy witness said whatever it was happened some time ago. If the police are just following up, and if she is alive, those people are long gone by now, especially since it has all been made public.

Maybe someone will see the picture of the man and have some info???
We can only hope.

Oh man. Sorry to hear it. It will take some time, but muscles, especially the larger ones, respond quickly to exercise. Your thigh and calf will be back quicker than you think! :grouphug:

Here is a fav Halloween show of mine. My DD liked it when it first came out, I was the annoying teach about other cultures parent, and science gifts, like the owl puke kit, the star projector, the trips to the Art museum, lol. Just click the play arrow, don't bother with the big yellow download now or play now tabs. If any young ones come around, they can be entertained too.

This made me mad for you. Just ignore them.

Falls happen, ankles twist, knees give out. I'm not yet 50 and ankles and knees do just that to me already.

If others cannot think beyond gossip level, well, now you know who your friends are and are not, or whom you want as friends. (Although I know you already know anyway.)

Hang in there! :blowkiss:

It doesn't really bother me I was a terrible drunkard back in my younger years before the kids (I am only 27 not 67 lmao) so I think thats the impression I give
