She's not tweeting directly. She's passing info to someone and they are tweeting for her. The same with her "bookclub" , "blog", and the selling of her "art". :banghead:

Hi, When she goes to prison she will have two phone calls a week, think they are ten minutes each. Another reason she doesnt want to go~"Please Mr. Custer I dont wanna go". She will be in solitary confinement. not much help for her book club!:floorlaugh:

Congrats M on the stop smoking!!! You should brag !!!

It is bitter cold today. Yesterday it was 70 degrees and sunny outside, today it looks like it could snow (It will not snow because the high is suppose to be 45). The wind is blowing like crazy. No hair spray can hold up to this wind.

O/T. Philippines.

Hi all, I haven't been around much last few days. I have been following the typhoon in Philippines. My cousin moved there over a year ago. Her husband is Philippino and hasnt been well. She thought it would be good for him to be home. They are in their late 60's. I feared for her moving there at an older age but never told her of course. They are in Cebu City. I finally found some onfo tonight thru' CNN. Cebu wasnt hit as hard as other areas. Her husband had told her that is the safest area of the Islands. Anyway I feel better now. There is a good chance they are safe. The house they bought is concrete so I hope it held up~still no phone landlines,no electric, gas, or food. US., Canada, and Britain were first with aid. :seeya:

PS. my thanks button will only work about once on a page so thanks for all posts.

Thanksgiving is on November 28th. Just wanted to pass that along.

This is probably a dumb question but does it fall on the same date each year?
We have holidays that are on a different date each year

Nore, I hope your cousin and her husband are okay.

I've spent the last three days trying to help an Australian family get news of their father who lives in Guiuan. This city of 50K was where Yolanda made landfall in the Philippines. They got word overnight that he is alive, but nothing more. City has been leveled, 85 dead, over 900 injured with no communication system. Aid is just beginning to trickle into the area by air. Looks like Doctors Without Borders sent in a person today with a team to follow tomorrow.

I am very, very concerned that food, water, shelter and medical aid may not reach people in time.

Every life is precious. Every minute counts. Time is of the essence.
