Well they all know how that prison is, and yet they go back there. So I say behave and stay out of jail and you won't have to look at or think about Joe. I have 0 tolerance with whining thugs, and those who don't want to contribute to society.

Yes, I doubt he runs these programs himself. I believe the goal of being incarcerated is that you will leave when your term is satisfied and not commit another crime because of punishment you have received. The Sheriff runs the jail so everything and anything does fall under his job description or duty. Rehabilitation for prisoners is usually giving them tools and training to start a new life on the outside. Evidently some prisoners don't like that idea.

I will say one thing, the Sheriff is qualified to tell them they can have bread and water whether they like it or not. LOL jmo

From what is being reported I guess we have to go to Alaska to get warm. It's suppose to be 15 here tonight in NC, getting up to 40 degrees tomorrow then back down into the mid teens tomorrow night. Burrrrrrrr. My heather had buds on it. Poor heather.

Wellllllll. It's only going up to 27 tomorrow and 16 tonight. The pipes are not use to this type of cold weather so the facets are dripping. Kids have been off all week from school because some of the roads are still a little icy. No plows down here. lol So we sit and wait for it all to melt. I lived in Connecticut so I know what bad winters are like.

I agree and want to remind folks that the county jail and the state prison are vastly different places. Anyone accused of a crime might wind up in a county jail, but those convicted of serious crimes are sent to prison.

Oh, I agree. But JA was in there 5 years and is still there. Marissa D. whose trial is coming up has been in there 5 years. So I can see the Sheriff providing them with programs for rehabilitation. Especially if the government is paying for them. Some of these women in jail have no skills so I think the programs are good if they do, in fact, provide them with skills to find jobs once they leave the jail. jmo

IMO, it will come down to whether she is able to charm another 60 to 75-year-old jury foreman who can't separate his personal feelings from his civic duty.

They get only one more shot at this, and then JSKS gets to decide whether or not the lying torture murderess, the Butcheress of Mesa, is eligible for parole.

Dr. DeMarte then goes on to state how Dr. Karp's report brought up a number of claims (too numerous to count) of abuse incidents by TA against JA. After Dr. Karp stop evaluating JA, JA then only reported 4 instances of abuse to ALV, Dr. Samuels and Dr. DeMarte.

So why did Dr. Karp suddenly drop JA?

I think there is something in the court documents about it. I don't have time to dig though.

I've not seen anything about health.

I speculate that because the wild lies the convicted torture murderess told to Karp exceeded even those she told to Samuels and LaViolette, the Defense Team deemed them far too incredible to put before the jury.

I think they were happy to have Karp go away quietly and not subject her testiphony to JM's cross-examination.

I think the same can be said about the phychitrist (sp?) for Casey Anthony - he didn't want to perjury himself either!
