OT: Bernina, thanks for the pics of baby Zuri. She is going gray! Do you think she might roan out possibly? Also, do you do your horses' feet? Or does a farrier come?
My farrier is out every month during the warmer months as their feet grow more quickly. Two of mine are in shoes, the other two are barefoot, but get trimmed every 4-6 weeks. I noticed a lot of your ground is rocky. Does that help keep their feet trimmed? And do they ever have stone bruises or abscesses?
It is fascinating to me to see horses kept more naturally than mine are! Mine are blanketed, stabled, pampered and boarded. I would love to have your opportunity, but alas, it is not to be. I keep dreaming and will live vicariously through you lol.
