Maybe she finally realizes that even she, the liar of liars, still can't lie good enough to fool this jury into believing she has true remorse. Or, will she suddenly tomorrow decide she wants to allocute ? Nothing would surprise me in this crazy trial.

FYI The American Sniper trial was due for closing arguments yesterday, but it got shelved due to an ice storm in Dallas. They will probably be out of commission today as well.

For your amusement, I saw this story on the local (Austin) morning news a couple of days ago about a guy who has been on the Texas Supreme Court for 9-1/2 years. It is a riot. You don't think of these types of people as having a sense of humor.

The Court previously denied the defendant’s oral motion for a mistrial during a bench conference on January 26, 2015. Defendant filed this written motion to support her renewed request for mistrial. The State requested time to file a written response.

"...The judge explained to her that wasn't allowed due to the Court of Appeals decision that she wasn't allowed to testify in secret. Arias responded by stating it was her belief that "testimony" was different than "allocuting" so the decision didn't apply....
