And YorN is ready to ROCK! LOL! Glad you got the ol' 'puter running right!

Is anyone else just burned out on trials right now? I am, just don't have to oomph to get into one.

Put in my feed delivery, played musical pens with the ponies, swans abandoned their nest/the 2 eggs weren't fertile :gaah: but I *think* I have a female toilet paper goose laying eggs. Smaller than the buff goose eggs, have 2 so far and they went straight into the incubator <---so much for shutting it down until the peacocks lay.
Nice day here also, maybe put in some hammock time, I just get all guilty cause I REALLY need to hit the pond with a backhoe and get all the crud at the bottom out. I think 10 years with no intervention is long enough, it's just draining the thing, takes 2 days with a 1/4 horse water pump......and there's TONS of baby fish in there right now.

Yea- The old bag is really rocking

through life right now on The Sidebar (my favorite place to be :loveyou: ) :floorlaugh:

I am sorta burned out, but I started with the Boston Bombing and I don't want to stop because some people want to see the tweets :sheesh: (you know how that is). It is an interesting trial, but also very heartbreaking (with all the testimony of the victims who are maimed for life and the dead's loved ones grief :( ). To me, it's very cut-and-dry..he's guilty of mass murder (no matter who the defense said influenced him). And, of course, there's Spring cleaning still. :(

I'm reading the Holmes trial thread, but I'm kinda leery, like you, to get really involved with another "insanity" trial- it's so....tenuous, the sanity of someone. How do you really know if they are insane or just putting on a "show". I do believe that Shenecker, Wournos, and Yates are/were insane, IMO. I'm glad I'm not on a jury who has to decide if someone is insane or not- would be very stressful for me. :( So, I tiptoe thru the Holmes trial.

Eggs, eggs everywhere- in nests, in incubators....

Lay in the hammock girllllllllll and chill a little: :slap:

Forget the pond- the Fish will die if you drain and demuck it , IMO:

BBM I know just how you feel :therethere: I just came in from scrapping old paint off of the small front deck and started painting it (only 1/4 done yet).

How about a squirrel massage instead

BBM
yes, I am just mush now. I try to catch up in the evenings with the Holmes and Bomber trials, but admittedly I am only skimming through. Just do not have the energy to handle another major trial yet.

Hey everyone. I am not ready for another trial unless maybe there is some guarantee that it won't last longer than 2 weeks.
It will take me a while to require from 281129' s trial.

Worked extremely hard this week.

The Kentucky Oaks horse race for fillies is today, with the Kentucky Derby tomorrow. Attending the Triple Crown races is on my bucket list. What magnificence!

LOL! "Word on the Street", sounds all gangsta, lol!

Somebody knows what state 281129's financial situation is, wanna bet?

LOL @ Bernina!

I added some more to my post, but you're too fast for me!

And now for a laugh...

My great granddaughter (who just turned 4), comes every Thursday after pre school and eats with us, and we like spending the time with her. Soooo, yesterday she asked me put clips in her hair, hold her hair back from her face. Sure, no problem, right? Little did I know what she had in her mind!! LOL She is a girly girl, loves doing her hair, so I fixed her up a mirror, small shelf, brush, hair bows, and a small water spray bottle for 'hair spray'. Well...she was in the bathroom for longer than usual and I went to check on her, this is what I found!!!

<modsnip>

She got into the face paints and said she was being pretty for her date!! What could I do but say she looked beautiful and help her clean up?! Gotta love em :)
She even put a sticker on her forehead! lol

LOL. How sweet!! I don't know why.. it must be a rite of passage or something in childhood but, all of my children have given each other or themselves haircuts when they were small. Of course it was always the same haircut too... "The Romulan" from Star Trek cut!!! The first time I was horrified...by my 4th child I Laughed my butt off!

:happydance: :skip: :happydance: :skip:

Love it!!

Not much happening here - need to grocery shopping a bit later... supposed to get to 85 here today! :summer:

off to read...

:seeya:

It was 82 here and Beautiful.

This link is too funny, ok, the name of the site is funny, "Friendly Forecast".

http://www.friendlyforecast.com/usa/weather.php?db=332195&?-Forecast-Perryville-Arizona

Currently 99.0 degrees at 5:40 pm Arizona time down there at 281129's digs.

But I like "Wunderground's" temps better:

http://www.wunderground.com/q/locid:USAZ1299

Currently 101.1 at 5:43 pm Arizona time, the high was 103, low of 68.

It's just a taste of things to come. The temps are going back down to the 90's and then 80's, storm on Sunday night.

I used to turn my AC on the minute it hit 100 and didn't turn it off till after September. I was lucking I was always living in block or adobe houses, so the heat really didn't get to me till it got to 100 outside.

Who has that tiny violin? A collective "poor 281129"? :floorlaugh:

Thanks for the weather report for Phoenix.

87 here in Las Cruces, but I am nicely air conditioned.
Had a dinner of buttered lemon tilapia, broccoli and a little potato.
A few cookies for desert

Anyone know what is served for Friday dinner in la Masion de Perryville?

:floorlaugh:

eh, tender grilled gopher sauteed in a light grasshopper juice, with Jack Rabbit tartar soaked in only the highest quality Buckeye irrigation run off, with just a whiff of essence of feed lot and Triox weed killer.

YUM, YUM.

Toe Jam with a dash of belly lint, lightly drizzled with the Chef's famous Fungus Amongus for desert.

Oh......and here in Paulden, we had a beautiful high of 86 and a low this morning of 49, slight breeze at 5-10 mph.

Nice in the mid 70's today and low humidity. Steak and shake for supper. Milkshake for dessert.

My grand daughter's first haircut happened at pre school for retaliation for not wanting to marry a young suitor.

A story to go along with this. We had custody of our two grandchildren, since my grandson was born 1995, and his sister when she was two in 1999. We had sent our two kids to this same pre school ,and my grand daughter teacher had also been my son's teacher, so she was a little spoiled ,but she told us about this one little boy that just followed her everywhere. He stood by while she'd swing, he sat next to her every chance he got (Hmm a four year old stalker?) so that one day they were cutting things out of magazines to cut and paste. He popped the question, she said no and he took a few whacks off her ponytail. It didn't turn out as bad as we all thought. She has straight as a board fine thing hair like her grandma , and when we took hairband off it fell into a perfect bob.

The young man - my daughter Anna had been divorced for several years and was dating a young man that had a son by his 16 year old girlfriend, and that she had been murdered, dumped and sat on fire, and his son was being raised by the girls mother, so Anna was telling me about her week and he had got in trouble at school for cutting a little girls hair. Small world at times. That little boy would call on her with his grandmother and take her to movies and plays up until she went to live with her mother when she was ten.

Now the next year, before a two week visitation with her mother she took the scissors and was whacking off one side over her ear as I walked into her bedroom to pack her suitcase. It was not a cute haircut and it wasn't an easy fix. Wow that almost makes me cry. She's seventeen and I have always been the one that's had her hair done. She always had it cut by the same barber that did her daddy's hair. She'll be eighteen in September and I might not get that last summer visitation to enjoy and have hair and nails done the last time.
