I think the foreman just had a personal reaction to Juan Martinez. I didn't think he talked down to the jury AT ALL!! If anyone did it was Wilmott/Nurmi and LaViolette with her anecdotes about her gazillion un-named prior abuse victim patients.
But I do understand his saying he didn't like being talked to like he was stupid. For whatever reasons he felt like that. I was a juror in a drunk driving trial (interestingly, the defendant was a judge's wife :floorlaugh. I remember the defense attorney stating to us how no one could possibly pass the field sobriety test even if sober. And he proceeded to demonstrate for us up at the podium and . . . wait for it . . . stumbled and practically fell down. I never felt so insulted in my life. Complete and utter fakery. Completely insulted each and every juror's intelligence. GMAB!
