Gosh, 1 pm and I have already had 2.5 screwdrivers, almost at my weekly limit of 3 cocktails. Glad there is no trial this week. I need to focus on work anyway.

For a second there, when I read screwdrivers, I thought you were a skateboarder. :giggle:

I kind of feel badly for the foreman (ducks) and the others who voted for LWOP (ducks again). My opinion only is that it's easier to say that you are in favor of the death penalty and that you could vote for it than it is to sit through a grueling five month trial and then vote for it. The three jurors on GMA this morning also stated that when they first walked in to the courtroom, they couldn't believe Jodi was the defendant, that she had an "innocent look". I think the foreman thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to speak to the press (as he was probably getting deluged with inquiries and yes, it seems he has or had a wish to be high-profile) and let's face it, don't we all want to hear from all of them? I don't think he went to these interviews thinking he'd be receiving death threats from sharing his views.

I know this is a very minority opinion on here - please don't hurt me :)

On a lighter note - are we sure that Juror #7 (Paul Rudd) is married? He is cute!

I was accepting of the all jurors who decided a life sentence was best until I heard the foreman speak. Now not so accepting of his reasoning. I will hold out my opinion on the others till I hear them speak. Playing catch up today, I have not been able to pay much attention to interviews this past weekend with hubby being off. The foreman just seemed lost to me and with each interview seems like he gets deeper and deeper. Maybe the interviews are out of context since media likes to make this a circus, so I was still giving the foreman some credit but that is slowly going away. I will say I'm so thankful that they came back with murder one after hearing him so far.

:truce:
Oh, yeah, that'd be a great idea. I mean, we obviously all get along so well here, so let's just go and put ourselves in some hotel for a weekend, drink too much... Before you know it, we'd be discussing some murder trial that sprang out of that little gathering. ;)

We need to come East for the Andrea S trial in GA..,

Well lets start with she Murdered Travis and then we go on from there

Thanks, that I knew...but I did not think she was in lock down from the time the guilty verdict was read to the hung jury....

I now will lurk...no more comments

LOL! I usually only drink wine but someone brought some vodka and I have orange juice. The rest is history.

Wait until you get a view of Perryville. Makes Estrella look like a night at the Ritz.

No exaggeration.

I just did. She better hope delusion can keep her immune to the situation, because there is a most excellent hell waiting for her there.

The guy who did the videos was right- her lawyers did her no favor by failing to prepare her. I agree with him- she may not survive a year. No wonder it's called "the Hole."

What do you think JA will look like in July??? Of course she will have glasses. I think she will weigh about 95 pounds and will have chin length hair. Of course we know that the chopped off hair will have been donated.

Can you point me in the direction of where you viewed it? TIA.

I second that emotion .. Yes it does.

FYI - Thanks again for the link to Shrink4men it's a fantastic website I'm currently reading more from Dr Tara J. Palmatier I really like her writing style and find her expertise in this area to be quite informative and compelling.

Yes I like her too. She is one of very few voices for men who experience relationships with a NEW ( as in only recently acknowledged) AND DANGEROUS female predator. It is my firm conviction that the MH field will have to adjust accordingly to the identification of these personality types in which there is co- occurring symptomology of both ASPD AND BPD jmho

We love da funk, give up da funk. :floorlaugh:

That's awesome!!

yeah...when I met him he was in a local punk band (even though he looked like an accountant) and I would sometimes go to his shows and was always felt like all the young punk kids' denmother (I was 30 when we met and hardly went out anymore).

It was fun though...

Oh I know! My favorite Lucy outfit was the one she wore for "special" dinners with Fred & Ethel - black slacks under a long duster or whatever you call it. She was quite chic! Whereas my namesake was relegated to wearing frumpy house dresses with rick-rack on them...

This was my 2007 Christmas Card in my new house. I wanted that black dress but had to settle for this...
