Hope you don't mind me being totally OT but I'm so excited. I adopted a little doggie today. They named her Bella at the pound so I'll have to think about that one. I really don't want an instant reminder of FCA's tatoo for the next 12 years or so. I might change her name to Ashton or Ash. You know, fight for the right and all. I get her on Monday and then she's promised to take me for a long walk. I need long walks. :great: :woohoo:

She has written a book but won't appear for an interview with the press? WTH? The overview is just cr** - are you kidding me Juror that you even gave Caylee a thought during this trial?

Words cannot describe how cowardly I find this....

That could be very true...
At first I thought it was one of the jurors..but reading some of the reader reviews(negative) on Amazon they say it is not written by a juror from the Anthony trial but by someone who watched the trial and speculates what it would have been like to be a juror on that case...

I'm pretty sure any juror that writes a book, it isn't going to be some little nook download book for 5 bucks.

Thanks Intermezzo - I was wondering if it was that blonde woman from Chicago or somewhere like that who put her life on hold to attend the trial - I saw her interviewed mid-trial but I just cannot remember her name....
From what I remember she was planning on writing a book.

Caylee's life ended too soon,
Her mama was a loon.
When her baby died,
KC turned around and lied,
Now the public wants her fried.
Three calls to 9-1-1,
Cops came on the run,
Put an end to KC's fun.
While lying through her fanny.
KC put the blame on Zanny,
The imaginary nanny,
A hair found in the trunk,
with a smell that really stunk,
State should have a slam dunk.
All KC's lies did fail,
She was thrown in jail,
The cowboy posted bail,
Her lawyer was a rookie,
Probably wanted nookie,
But never got a lookie.
The media shouted her name,
She thought they played her game,
She had found her claim to fame.
To jail she did return,
Look at those eyes burn,
This girl would never learn.
RK came around,
Caylee was found,
KC frowned.
The DP was reinstated,
The public was elated,
KC was the most hated.
The states case was erected,
Although some were rejected,
The jury was selected.
It took quite awhile,
But the case came to trial,
It was almost time to smile.
The trial proceded,
Judges orders went unheeded,
Justice was desperately needed.
Jury foreman was a jock,
The verdict was a shock,
Jurors would not even talk.
The state took a swing and missed,
Now the whole world is pissed,
This girl got a slap on the wrist.
What message does this send,
At least she has no friend,
And Karma will get her in the end.

I am so sorry...on Barnes and Noble it really sounded like a juror wrote this. I should have checked Amazon, LOL. I did not mean to mislead anyone. I am very sorry I posted about that book!

I would have been "misled" also Aedrys, so I don't think you need to be sorry. Obviously the media is written to purposely mislead the buyer into thinking it is a juror from this case who has written it. :therethere:

IMO, The title of the book is misleading.."From a Juror's Point of View"

Of course, that's the whole point of it. To get unsuspecting consumers to buy the book without any knowledge if it's the real deal. To be honest I'm surprised there hasn't been more 'copycat' stuff like this out there (people claiming they were jurors) since we don't know the juror names.
 
Seems like there would be more sales of the book if the author was not pretending to be one of the jurors since no one wants to buy a book written by any one of them.
I know I would be more interested in reading about another person's take of how they viewed the evidence and what was actually happening in the courtroom especially when the cameras weren't on.
