This totally, totally OT for this thread, but for others like me who are stuck here in the Casey Nightmare, and rarely venture out to other threads, I read today the entire 911 tape in the Powell case. Now that will make your blood boil.

Just saw the very latest video. And my opinion?? By these being released FCA has ruined her only remaining chances of getting an interview, book deal, whatever. Her immaturity shows and she still reeks of narcissism. It doesn't appear that she has matured one iota. She still presents herself as a 14 year old girl when she is rapidly aging and losing her looks as she heads towards 30 years old. (Groucho Marx anyone??:floorlaugh:)

Her only chance to redeem herself would have been to reappear as a sophisticated, thoughtful, mature almost thirty-something who has learned from her mistakes. Not that rode-hard, put away wet, mess!!

:bananalama:

Rode hard, put up wet....*snort*

I won't watch! Nope! Won't do it!

Hope her piercings get infected and that her nose has to be removed from her face and her ear falls off.

:innocent:

I heard most of it on our news this morning and thought the social worker was far too calm in her initial statements - by the time she was getting really upset it was too late.

Come come now Lola. Do speak plainly. I believe your point may be shrouded in the subtly of your verbiage.

No - you have to read the transcript. Most of the recordings I have heard are only snippets and it is not the social worker who is infuriating. It was the 911 operator. He plays a game of who's on first.....maddening. He is very, very condescending to her. "Ma'am, the officers have to respond to LIFE THREATENING situations first. They will be there when they can." Hope he feels bad these days.

Actually, most of the defense bar embraced Baez and Mason as conquering heroes after the verdict.

As a matter of fact, several prominent Florida defense attorneys proposed having Jose Baez and Cheney Mason be the keynote speakers at the 50th Anniversary Meeting of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
How sad is that?!!!

heh, I give them credit for pulling off a win after being dealt a straight flush with the Pinellas 12, but I cannot fathom the legal community viewing them as any sort of heroes. Seriously. They should be ashamed of their courtroom antics (and I am not talking about strategy here) and FGS, Mason flipping the bird to the cameras? I would think they would feel humiliated.
Could this be SOP in Florida?

I think it's calculated to keep interest where it would otherwise wane. Claims of new photos are probably same strategy...release one or two or so, then a couple weeks later a few more...and so on. If they own them (paid for them) they want the most bang for their buck.

Really people, if you've seen one KC photo or video you have seen them all. Save your time and don't give in to sensationalist reporting....don't click.

I would not mind clicking to seeg something real, something substantial, happening in this case. But that isn't what's up, and the same old stale bait being thrown to us has an off taste, IMO.
Will not click!!

Oh no I heard that part also. Wasn't trying to say the guy was anything but an idiot, and his supervisor was also on the clip apologizing saying the guy is absolutely distraught, as well he should.

Although could it really have been stopped before or when a Swat team got there? I don't know...

I watched the video. There is the totally most creepiest, freakiest, downright bizarro reflection of staring eyeballs in her eyeglasses. Bizzaro.

No I don't believe so. But he needs a serious attitude adjustment and just saw a tweet from Nancy Grace that the State is investigating 911 response

For those who can't stomach looking at a baby killer, here's the transcript:

"It's November 6, 2011. I just pierced my nose last week, very exciting and my ear, woo! Very, very exciting. My hair is officially red which is not the most obvious thing because of the black and white but (sigh) starting to make some changes, some good changes for, for me, for myself. Trying to figure out the things that I like, that I want and just whatever, doing it, like my glasses and umm just its been an amazing weekend with (inaudible) for me. It's good to be back, good to be home, good to be with my pooch and uhh (inaudible) back today so looking forward to get home for (inaudible) weekend (sigh) just really starting to feel good about a lot of things, about umm like really starting to like the way things are going, where they are going.(inaudible) (laughs) just happy, (inaudible) my friend (inaudible) the week, take 1"

IMO

Gag. Me. With. A. Spoon!
It's just more of the me-me-me blather we've come to expect from this twit. Her use-by date has come and gone, doncha think? She really is pitiful. I suspect even her clueless groupies are getting tired of her.

Whoever transcribed that video on wesh was wrong.

Towards the end, she holds up her phone..looks like she said "text message from *whoever*" - can't make out the name, if she says a name.

The next thing she mouths was "just happy" as if to say I'm just happy..as she stares creepily into the camera. *shudder*.

Then you can hear the dog barking..and she says "my friend obviously wants to go outside..I'll be back..take one"

And earlier in the video it looks like she says "Smooch", not pooch..

What a totally creepy, bizarre video. She needs to be institutionalized.

This was posted in another thread but is a must read for anyone who is convinced that Caylee was "well" taken care of by her mother. DCF's findings were also of neglect. Neglect is not always visible to outsiders and although Caylee appeared to be a healthy child, she was not and was suffering from long periods of being in a stationary position. Not hard to believe given the information we have gotten from discovery about the amount of time KC spent on the computer and on her cell phone texting and talking to friends. Does the word "marathon" accurately describe KC's activities.

Although KC claims to have been working we have no idea where she spent her time other than shopping at Target, on her phone and on the computer constantly. Another mystery is Caylee's medical records and how often was she seen by a doctor, had she had all her shots and why didn't the doctor recognize the symptoms of what Caylee was suffering from.

Quoted from the article linked above:

Dr. Green responded with the following opinion:

There is evidence that she was forced over some period of time, at least several months or longer, to often be forced to lie on her back, maybe with her head restrained, maybe under sedation, maybe because she was terrorized, and maybe because she was so tired she often fell asleep in an awkward, un-natural, and forced position. This would have been, due to her age and the fact the fusion of the synostosis were not yet mature, to cause chronic osteotic changes, primarily due to replicating osteoblasts (bone-cells that are growing at that age) so as to have caused this non-natural finding…but which finding in and of itself is not pathological [i.e. not related to disease].

In short, Dr. Green felt there was “non-specific but worrisome evidence of chronic child abuse”.

Someone mentioned that RO attracts younger people...and that very well may be the case. However, RO LOVES celebrity. What if celebrities (and heck, there were plenty who were as outraged as we were at the verdict) pulled their "support" of websites like RO and TMZ? Oh my...that would get them where it hurts. That's a Twitter war I'd love to see.
PS- I don't tweet...but all of you who do...(IMO) go for it.

I don't see any type of therapy going on in this video. What it appears is that she is "flirting" with the camera. She obviously expects some "hunk of burning love" to be viewing this. What she is showing us is that she has no life. None at all. She's down to having a love affair with the computer. jmo

Brilliant idea. Some more experienced than me in TwitterLand needs to send out a blast twit..er, tweet to any and all celebs they can find. Ask them to "black out" ROL if they don't stop supporting an acquitted baby killer. <--- see I am politically correct when need be. I know a few tweeters that are our WS friends who surely could do some good. That would throw a :bricks: roadblock in the way of wealth from death.

I would hope that some celebs still have a modicum of dignity and would possibly take offense at FCA being touted as a celebrity...same as they?
